Super Bowl Predictions

Today the Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they will be wearing their "white away uniforms" for the Super Bowl.

The Steelers will buck years of tradition and wear their white away uniforms in the Super Bowl against the Seahawks, even though they are designated by the NFL as the home team and could wear their more traditional black jerseys and gold pants.

Cowher made the choice by himself and without consulting with ownership, saying, "We're not playing at Heinz Field so, in my mind, it's an away game."

That choice was greeted with smiles and nods at Seahawks headquarters Tuesday. Seattle's players would rather wear their blue jerseys and pants, which they pushed for when the new uniforms and colors were introduced in 2002. The Seahawks are 10-1 in their blue uniforms this season -- 10-0 at Qwest Field, with the lone loss coming Week 4 at Washington against the Redskins. They wore blue jerseys and white pants in a season-opening loss at Jacksonville. source

I have a theory which most of the time has held true... The team with the 'wimpiest' uniforms will lose the game, and obviously the team with the 'meanest' looking uniforms will win. There is always an exception to the rule, and the Indianapolis Colts have been the exception this year. So looks like you can put your money down on the Seattle Seahawks to win. ha

That's right, Seahawks will be Super Bowl 40 champions. Not too many people outside the Northwest (or in Iraq for that matter) seem to share my opinion. Oh well...at least I have faith in my team!
