A terrorist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina? The FBI is investigating a hit and run 'accident' involving Mohammad Reza Teheri-Azar, an Iranian, is accused of driving his SUV through a crowd of students. Teheri-Azar was seeking to get back at Americans because of their treatment of Muslims.
He is a graduate of University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 2005. A Joint Task Force is working with local law enforcement, FBI and others. The bomb squad searched his car and apartment. Results of that search are not available at present.
Possible motive for the attack could be the printing of a Mohammad cartoon. The Daily Tarheel printed an original cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed.
Eight students and a visiting scholar were injured in the attack. Teheri-Azar is chared with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

UPDATE: Bail has been set and 5.5 million for Mr. Teheri-Azar who has been charged with 9 counts of attempted murder.
Zarqawi has already been on an Arab website saying the "Americans are behind" the violence that results from the depiction of the prophet in the "Mohammad" cartoons.
I am ticked off at Fox News Channel hosts, who interviewed the Editor of The Daily Tarheel. They basically accused him of printing the Mohammad cartoon to "stir up trouble", calling the carton "not funny, no point in it being printed other than to cause trouble". Insinuating that the attack by Teheri-Azar was directly the fault of the cartoonist and Editor of The Daily Tarheel. WHAT??? How 'tolerant' and just plain "knuckling under" to the pressures of Islam can you get. And from Fox news no less.
