Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

* Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
* Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
* Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by awillfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealmentof a material fact; has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months.Repeat offenses brings up to two years in prison. Additional civilfines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civilfines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.

Illegal immigration is no victimless crime. Go read it all.

PHOENIX (AP) — Two days after a big immigration march in Phoenix, the Arizona Legislature on Wednesday approved legislation to make illegal immigrants subject to the state's criminal trespassing law.

The Senate approved the bill on a 17-12 vote and the House followed with a 33-27 vote, with both Republican-led chambers voting nearly along party lines.

Supporters of the bill contend it would provide "a second line of defense" behind the Border Patrol by enabling state and local law enforcement officers to arrest illegal immigrants who now are often released.

"This is a tool that law enforcement will use in a case-by-case basis. I do not envision large roundups," said Sen. Chuck Gray, R-Mesa. Go read it all

The speaker walked up to the podium and spoke forcefully in Spanish and, I admit, I have no idea what he said but he apparently asked the crowd a series of questions and they, in turn, shouted "si" or "no". I just received an email about this and it seems easy enough to do.

Our voices need heard. Sunday the 16th This is the idea everyone makes signs puts them in there house
windows. Then some for their vehicles. We are protesting illegal immigration. We will be peacefully putting our word into public eye. We will be heard. This is easy for all to do. No fear of being attacked.
We have a backer, we have people joining this movement. It will be nation wide. If you agree with
this participate, and get the word out to those who have not heard yet. This is our time to be active.
