The Challenges of Islam
The free countries around the world are beginning to see the challenges placed on them by Islam. The Mohammad cartoons was just one fine example of the violent way Muslims respond when are simply 'offended'. Denmark sees Islam for what it is:
"We are being challenged by Islam these years - globally as well as locally. It is a challenge we have to take seriously. We have let this issue float about for too long because we are tolerant and lazy. “We have to show our opposition to Islam and we have to, at times, run the risk of having unflattering labels placed on us because there are some things for which we should display no tolerance." -- Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Daily Telegraph, U.K., April 15, 2005
Read those amazing statements again. I applaud every word in that statement. The United States, Europe and all the free world should follow Denmark with similar statements. Islam detests when anyone sees it for what it is, violent, evil, relentless, and spreading. They are trying to unite, become one group, one mind, with one purpose, conquering the world.
Presently, there are 57 Muslim countries, with 57 policies and 57 Shirk-infested national anthems, divided interests and unclear strategies. The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and the Arab League are useless for the same reason. Ummah, thus, is the most dreaded word for those who harbor hatred for Islam. " source
The definition of Ummah is: "the Muslim community or people, considered to extend from Mauritania to Pakistan". According to Abid Ullah Jan, author of several books and articles:
According to the principles of Islam, there is no basis for division among Muslims with respect to place of birth, ethnicity, culture, language, national boundaries or nationality. This ideology also nullifies the concept of nation-states as a major foundation for separation among Muslims. These modes and systems of identification are invalid because not only they would force Muslims to worship their respective states and their secular laws, but also because they would divide their interests. That is why the United States and its allies shiver to the core when Muslims refer to the concept of the Ummah and establishing an Islamic state or Khilafah. source
I don't think the United States and our allies 'shiver to the core' at the idea of an Islamic Khalifah (or Caliph as we in the West refer to it). That is precisely the problem! We SHOULD be shivering. We should be changing our tolerant ways here in the US and begin protecting ourselves from the threat of an Islamic Caliphate which is most assuredly the plan of Muslims.
Definition of Khalifah: "the civil and religious leader of a Muslim state considered to be a representative of Allah on earth; "many radical Muslims believe a Khalifah will unite all Islamic lands and people and subjugate the rest of the world" [syn: caliph, calif, kaliph, kalif, khalif]".
Donald Rumsfeld gets it, sort of:
“Those voters are demonstrating again today that there exists no conflict between Western values and Muslim values. What exists is a conflict within the Muslim faith—between majorities in every country who desire freedom, and a lethal minority intent on denying freedom to others and re-establishing a caliphate.” U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, September 30, 2005, Time Magazine
“Think of that country being turned over to the Zarqawis, the people who behead people, the people who kill innocent men, women and children, the people who are determined to reestablish a caliphate around the world.” Rumsfeld, November 20, 2005 to CNN
Unfortunately President George W. Bush does NOT get it, saying: “Some call this evil Islamic radicalism; others, militant Jihadism; still others, Islamo-fascism. Whatever it is called, this ideology is very different from the religion of Islam. " (speech on October 6, 2005) No, Mr. President, it is NOT different from Islam, it IS Islam.
In Abid Ullah Jan article, he gives all the politically correct verses of the Qur'an, all the politically correct answers, like "Islam is peaceful", "Islam does not want to conquer the world.", "State and public life are free of religion.". Frankly that is all a bunch of hogwash! It's what Islam WANTS us to believe, NOT what the actually teach and certainly NOT what their history has shown.
And the 'movement' is stretching out into the United States and we are giving in to it with our 'tolerance'. This must stop. Yes, we will be called Islamophobes, but that is not correct.
A phobia is "A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous." There is nothing irrational or phobic about something that truly is dangerous. Islam IS dangerous from its very beginning. Read. Educate yourself. Educate your politicians and leaders. Look at Iran's President Ahmadinejad, who believes he is the 'prophet' to bring on armageddon and the return of the 12'th Imam ... and he has gone nuclear. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Linked with Always on Watch, "Journalistic Standards at Arab Newspapers"
Recently Fawaz Turki, formerly the senior op-ed columnist for Arab News, an English-language newspaper in Saudi Arabia, was fired from his job because he had criticized various Islamic rulers. His commentary, "How to Lose Your Job at a Saudi Newspaper," appeared in the April 15, 2006 edition of the Washington Post. Fawaz Turki explains why he lost his job:
“…I had committed one of the three cardinal sins an Arab journalist must avoid when working for the Arab press: I criticized the government.
“The other two? Bringing up Islam as an issue and criticizing, by name, political leaders in the Arab or Islamic world for their brazen excesses, dismal failures and blatant abuses.” source

Debbie,
Pastorius is a great guy. Blunt, but a great guy.
Over at IBA, we don't tippy-toe around. It's quite a forum for discussion of the most serious threat facing Western civilization.

OK, I give! Maybe I should not have quoted Pat Buchannan. Sorry. Please don't punish me for that error!

Yes, this is a good article, full of truth. But, why quote the isolationist, anti-Semite Pat Buchannan?
He would have us do nothing in the face of our enemy except close the borders.
What is his policy on Iran?
The only solution to Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Saudi Arabia is regime change. And that is going to require the opposite of isolationism on the part of the United States.
What is it with you and Buchanan?
