Yes, I said "Jesus Cartoons". I know, I know, but there is an important point to be made here. I published the Danish Mohammad cartoons, so I am publishing one of the Jesus cartoons. It's disgusting, but I don't expect Christians to start running through the streets of America, burning down embassies and killing innocent people like the Muslims did. That's the point!
World Net Daily broke the news yesterday that a far-left student newspaper at the University of Oregon — called “The Insurgent” appropriately enough — decided to publish 12 deliberately offensive cartoons of Jesus in their March issue. Why? Because the Oregon Commentator, a conservative student newspaper at U of O, recently published the 12 Jyllands-Posten cartoons of Mohammed. The Insurgent wanted Christians to know what it felt like to have their religion insulted. Via Hot Air

I think that is absolutely right. We respect the right of the cartoons to be published as a freedom of democracy. We may not like them, and we may even be offended by them, but we won't kill people because of them.

Actually I didn’t care about the size of Jesus’ manhood, I just didn’t get offended in the least about the cartoons and in fact I think in the art of showing differences these types of cartoons should have been printed. . . .
More so, 700 copies of The Insurgent won’t be distributed after the University of Oregon invoked self-censorship on those images. The original publication, the Oregon Commentator, freely published the Jesus cartoons on their web site showing that at least some University of Oregon students understand that free speech is free speech. If The Insurgent has printed the Danish cartoons they could hold their head up high that they proved a point, but thus far the only point they have proven was already made.
The Jawa Report points out "Mohammed Cartoon Publishers Could Get Death Penalty in Pakistan"
Papers have been filed in Pakistan to indict the publishers of the controversial Mohammed cartoons. Those named in the push for the indictment: The editor, publisher, and cartoonist responsible for the first publications of the Mohammed cartoons in the Danish paper Jyllands-Posten; papers in France (not named in story, but cartoons reprinted in France Soir), Italy (La Stampa), Norway (Magazinet), Ireland (The Irish Daily Star), and the Netherlands (Volkskrant). Google, Yahoo, and Hotmail were also named in the suit for providing access to the cartoons. (Go read it all)

You see, dear editors of The Insurgent: G-d, unlike some moon god that we could mention, isn’t an insecure, thumb-sucking, powerless little brat demanding that we go burn down embassies and murder innocents to defend His honor. So thank you "The Insurgent" for showing the Muslims that WE are civilized people. We know who our God is and he is NOT a piece of paper with ink on it. WE are confident in our religion. WE do not have to appease our God. WE are Christians. WE are democratic. WE are free. WE are NOT Y-O-U !
