Blogiversary Database
Have you ever been reading some of your favorite blogs and wondered just how "OLD" or "NEW" they were? I have, and now thanks to bRight&Early I don't have to wonder any longer:
For some time now I wanted to create a database of blogs and their start date. That part was relatively easy. The second part of my idea was to have a short bit of javacript code that anyone could add to their blog and display links to the blogs that were celebrating their blogiversary on that day. That was something I didn't know how to do, but thanks to some good online tutorials I figured it out.
Now bloggers can add their information to the database. On their anniversary date (blogiversary) a link to their blog will be displayed on any site that has added the code. I've also set it up to display yesterday's and tomorrow's blogiversaries.
From Bad Example:
So you have a buttload of favorite blogs, and you'd LIKE to celebrate their blogiversaries every year, but you just can't keep track of all those dates.
Jim of bRight & Early has a solution - The Blogiversary Database.
Here are some of the blogs involved. So far there are a total of 32 signed up. Now, go on y'all and get your name on the list, scoot!
