I sent the following email to Marsha Blackburn. Encourage your friends to send similar messages. ____Dear Congresswoman,
I am writing to encourage you and other House conservatives to stand fast against the disastrous immigration "reform" bill passed by the senate, which is nothing more than a reward for illegal acts.
I have already written Senator Frist expressing my displeasure over his vote. I have not yet corresponded with Senator Alexander, but I was happy that he voted "nay".
I and many other Americans view any bill that allows illegal invaders to stay in this country as nothing more than amnesty. In my opinion, voting for any kind of amnesty, is a violation of the oath taken by the President and all members of congress to defend this country and her constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
I supported President Bush in both his elections, but I am sad to say he is wrong on this issue. I am also dismayed over the future 2008 presidential elections. If the Republicans provide any kind of a pro-amnesty candidate, I fear I will be forced for the first time ever to vote for the Libertarian candidate.
I implore you to keep a steady course in this matter and try to convince your Republican colleagues (and maybe even a few Democrats as well) to get on the right side of this issue. The security of this nation should be a non-partisan undertaking.
Thanks for listening and I look forward to seeing you return to the House for another 2 years this November.
Thomas Hamilton M.D.

Well, The votes are in and it's safe to say that the Senate Democrats and RINO Republicans are at it again! The Result? An amendment to make English the official Language of the United States of America passes, but is Racist!
