We are living in a world where 'terrorists' are viewed as 'victims'; where unlimited immigratiton of anyone from anywhere is the goal; where Christianity becomes the enemy to be removed from all places; where "pacifists, anti-racists, radical Marxists, anarchists, anti-Blairits, anti-Bushites and others of varying degrees of conviction and opportunism who see any attempt by the state to try to limit the incidence of terrorism as an assault on civil rights."
We are in denial. We fail to secure our borders. We allow radical clerics free reign to preach jihad, yet we try to snuff out Christianity. Our love of freedom is used against us. If we speak out against radical Islam we are racist and Islamophobs. Political correctness is becoming the 'norm'.
As a commentor noted, we were not attacked by "Hindus, Bhuddists or the Salvation Army but people who 'follow' Islam". It's not a conspiracy against Islam, it's a fact.
The book "Londonistan: How Britain is creating a terror state from within" is written by Melanie Phillips. She is described as a "seasoned observer of radical Islam". The book is excellent, but you wouldn't know that by the media in the UK or in the US. It almost didn't get published.
She had difficulty finding a publisher for a book that is well researched (complete with extensive footnotes) and finely written. The newspaper for which she writes a column has yet to print a syllable about this achievement by one of its own.
And when Miss Phillips is allowed on to the BBC - for some years she has been a regular on Radio 4's The Moral Maze - it is usually only when she is outnumbered by those who regard her as a crackpot or a spokesman for the international Jewish conspiracy. source
Ms. Phillips stresses the "dirty little secret" kept by the Establishment during the late 1990s and up until just recently:
It was that, as a nation that prided itself on its tolerance, multiculturalism and freedom of speech, we would allow those extremists forced out of their own countries in the Muslim world to come to settle here, and to engage in their radical activities.
In return, there was a "covenant" to which they would keep, and by which they would live in "peace" here with our people.
Once Tony Blair agreed to support America in Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks, that covenant, according to Miss Phillips, was unilaterally torn up. source
She is talking about the UK of course, but is that sort of 'covenant' being drafted here in the United States today, and with all honesty, hasn't one already been signed (figuratively) in Canada. It's a slippery slope and we are whooshing down the top right now.
The 17 suspects arrested in southern Ontario stand accused of "knowingly participating in a terrorist group and either receiving or providing terrorist training." They are alleged to have planned to make bombs to attack targets in Ontario. A lawyer representing a suspect by the name of Steven Chand "says his client is accused of planning to storm Parliament, behead the prime minister and attack a number of sites, including CBC headquarters in Toronto."
Chand must be quite dumb if he doesn't know that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is already Dar al-Islam (a house of submission). source
Just say no to multiculturalism and the 'tolerance' that allows a topsy-turvy world, where bad is good, where evil prospers and good is trampled, where politically correct trumps logical thinking. United States citizens, just say no ... or pay the awful consequences.
The contemptible hissy fit some are throwing about the video of a Marine singing a song called Hadji Girl (the link takes you to Michelle Malkin's post with a link to the video). For any of you who might not have heard the song is about an attractive Iraqi girl who lures a Marine into an ambush set by her father and brothers. The Marine, being a Marine, shoots his way out and emerges unharmed. The line, "Durka Durka, Mohammad Jihad" (from the movie Team America woven into the song. (go read it all)

Just read your post Lemuel and it does go right along with this one. There is nothing wrong with the video, the song or the words, but it will be used by Muslims/Arabs like the Jesse MacBeth video was.

Very good post. I used it as a jumping off point for a rant on my blog.
