Sometimes no explantion is needed, words just speak for themselves. With that in mind, I offer the following "immigration ignorance":
We can't say no to Mexico any more than we can say no to hurricanes and earthquakes.Perhaps if we'd been a better friend to that developing nation, its most hopeless people wouldn't be so desperate to migrate that they risk their lives - and the lives of their children - to get here.
Some say that if we help Mexico develop its petrochemical industry, there will be plenty of work for everyone. Certainly that would be better than offering nothing, which is what we've done for 200 years.
"Now they're (illegal immigrants) scared to death they'll lose their children if they're caught and deported."
It's implausible to think the U.S. government can force millions of undocumented workers back to Mexico permanently.
"Just because the lifeguard blows the whistle doesn't mean anybody's going to get out of the pool,"
"We can solve this immigration problem if everybody would stop shouting, calm down and be fair."
They do jobs nobody else will do.
"It has to be fair to everyone. I don't want to see people sent back to Mexico."
"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free." They don't say, "Keep a knockin' but you can't come in."
What makes us strong is our willingness to accept others. source
Nuff said, ... unless you want to comment and refute these statements.

... How did this illegal alien steal $50,000? Well, she got an education she didn’t pay for, right? If you steal a $50K car, you go to jail for a very, very long time. Why should an illegal alien who steals a $50K education be any different? Theft is theft, and all we are arguing is the semantics of the kind of theft. ...Holy Statistics, Batman!!
One-half of those deported from the Midwest were criminals?!? And yet there are people telling us how letting these criminals into this country is a GOOD thing ?!?
I am thinking if these numbers hold up nationwide, then it is time to put an end to this invasion, and I mean with the use of military force. (Go read it all, it's worth it. Full of information, facts, and laughs.)
"You don't need 'papers' to vote, if your voting for me" from the Violence Worker:
On Thursday night, Francine Busby, the Democratic candidate for the 50th Congressional District, was speaking before a largely Latino crowd in Escondido when she uttered those words. She said yesterday she simply misspoke.Or better yet, didn't know she was being recorded.

If an election can turn on a sentence, this could be the one: “You don't need papers for voting.” On Thursday night, Francine Busby, the Democratic candidate for the 50th Congressional District, was speaking before a largely Latino crowd in Escondido when she uttered those word
