Letter to Republicans from a Conservative re immigration, spending, defense, and more

Dear Chairman Mehlman,

Thanks very much for the enclosed address labels. I would like very much to contribute to the Republican Party but I cannot in good conscience do so. The Republican Party as a whole no longer represents my beliefs. After the ludicrous immigration reform bill recently proposed by the Republican controlled US Senate, I feel I can no longer support the party.

If the Republicans lose control of the House and/or the Senate in November, it will be nobody’s fault other than their own, and it is simply because they have failed to act like Republicans.

I remember the contract with America in 1994. The Republicans have forgotten. I remember the Republicans’ pledge to smaller government and less government spending, yet the Republicans hand in hand with the Democrats have led us to the largest multi-trillion dollar budget in history. I know that the President and every member in congress took an oath to defend this nation and her constitution against every enemy foreign and domestic. Yet many of the Republicans including the President are content to make half hearted efforts to secure our borders and let millions of criminal invaders remain in this country with no plan for removing them or punishing employers that give them jobs, punishing developers that rent or sell them houses, punishing lenders that lend them money, and on and on and on.

Give me a Republican Party that will give me a small unobtrusive federal government that will stop telling me what to eat, what to drive, how to act, and stay out of my business and my pocket book, and I will contribute again. Give me a Republican Party that will rid our nation from this cancer of illegal immigration that thumbs its nose at our laws and sucks the life out of our welfare and healthcare systems, and I will contribute again.

To the staffer that reads this, I urge you to share this with your superiors. Be aware and be warned that the vast majority of conservatives, your political base, feels exactly the way that I do.

The really twisted part about it is that RINOs always feel guilty they are not more liberal, and so always cede any argument to the liberals and eventually don't feel too bad about ceding a few elections to libs either - just like they did in the early '70s But I guess they have more in common than one would think. After all, it is then the liberals in power who cede the argument to America's enemies and then work to cede the country.
A RINO has always been an unstable, transitional form gas, which is why those who say they want to elect one really are a lib at heart.

I THINK THAT YOU CONFUSED THE NAMES OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. IT IS THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND THEIR MUSLEM PRESIDENT THAT REFUSED TO PORTECT OUR BORDERS.THE PRESIDENT DENIED PROFILING BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT ALL THE MIDDLE EASTENERS IDENTIFIED. THEY CAME ACROSS THE MEXICAN BORDER IN HUNDREDS AND THEN HEADED FOR THE TERRIOSTS CAMPS SPREAD OUT ACROSS THE COUNTRY. WE, WHO LIVE ON THE BORDER, CAN RECOGNIZE A HISPANIC WITH NO TROUBLE, JUST BY LOOKING. BUT THE MUSLEMS CAN DISGUISE THEMSELVES RATHER WELL, UNLESS THEY ARE LOOKED AT RATHER CLOSELY. THEN WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT MEXICAN. THAT'S WHY NO PROFILING WAS ALLOWED. THE BORDER PATROL PICKED UP ON THIS RATHER EARLY. BUT THE PRESIDENT TIED THEIR HANDS SO THAT THEY COULD NOT BE IDENTIFIED. THE REVOLT WILL COME FROM WITHIN THE USA FROM THESE TERRORISTS MUSLEM CAMPS. THANKS TO THE PRESIDENT WHO MADE SURE THEY COULD COME ACROSS WITH MEXICANS WITHOUT DETECTION. WE LIKE TO THINK THAT WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH THE PEACEFUL MUSLEMS BUT THEY ARE AT WAR WITH US. I DID MY RESEARCH BY READING THE QURAM AND IT SAYS TO KILL US ANYWAY THEY CAN.

Gloria Penia: You may not have not have noticed, but this article was published in June of 2006, that was way before Obama's time.

However, the points you make are excellent. Thanks for sharing and updating this.

We do know that OTM's (other than Mexicans) are a huge problem now, more than ever, and that the terrorists are using the open border to their advantage.

There is a terrorist pathway through South America, Central America and into the US with places like Venezuela assisting with documents.

The Koran does say that it is just fine for them to lie, cheat, deceive, and kill us any way they can.
