Run for the border politicians, ... because a successful 'run for political office' may depend on how you vote on illegal immigration in the USA. Here are two examples:
Immigration foe and Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo stokes the illegals issue, even if it means running against his own president - John DawsonTUCSON — Republican congressional candidate Randy Graf found an unlikely applause line while speaking from a town square gazebo at an Aug. 14 campaign rally in Tucson. "Anybody watch [CNN Anchor] Lou Dobbs?" asked Graf, referencing the protectionistic anchor on the liberal cable network.
The crowd met the inquiry with applause before Graf launched into a point on illegal immigration. "Ask [the other candidates] specifically what they would do to secure the border," he said. "And don't let them talk about the impact to the economy because we need the cheap labor. There ain't nothing cheap about it." It's a mantra that Dobbs commonly uses to bash President George W. Bush, who often says America needs the cheap labor of illegal immigrants. source
From Colorado:
LAKEWOOD - Congress needs to stop shirking its duties and pass a bill cracking down on illegal immigration, though gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez on Thursday said he doesn't know if lawmakers can reach an agreement."I honestly don't know if that can happen because the divide is very, very great. I'm extremely frustrated. At some point, the rule of law has to prevail," Beauprez said at a packed congressional hearing at Lakewood City Hall. ...
Several witnesses asked Beauprez why he and other politicians don't enforce laws already on the books.
"You don't do your job. You always pass the buck," he told Beauprez. "What's the matter with this country? It's going down hill. You know what they're going to call us? United Mexico," said Cliff Frye, a World War II veteran. source
From Atlanta:
ATLANTA - The Republican lawmaker who sponsored Georgia's sweeping immigration law accused Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Taylor of failing to show leadership on the issue. The attack from state Sen. Chip Rogers came as the state GOP launched a new television ad promoting Gov. Sonny Perdue's role in cracking down on illegal immigrants in Georgia.
"Someone had to do something about illegal immigration law and Sonny did," the ad said. source

Arellano claims to be the symbol in defense of illegal aliens in the U.S., but in reality, she’s the symbol for why we have immigration policies in the 1st place. If our government won’t deport those who enter the way Arellano did, then who can we deport? She is who our INS policies were specifically designed for. By bypassing the system that we use to welcome those who enter legally, she is now the symbol of how potential immigrants become illegal aliens.

There has to be security first on the border.

I've said it before and got attacked for it, so it must be a good thing to say and deserves being said again:
People who sneak across borders are criminals in any country and most of them will shoot you on sight for it. If we will start shooting illegal aliens who sneak across our borders, and among whom are terrorists, for a fact, I guarantee that we will not have to shoot more than three of them before the rest stop coming.
The majority of those who try sneaking in after that will be terrorists and they deserve to get shot dead.
We have a right to protect our borders AND THERE'S A WAR ON!
