The free world is digigging itself a hole it will be almost impossible to crawl out of should we ever come to our senses. From Salmon Rushdie's book, to Theodore Van Gogh's throat, to the Mohammed Cartoons and this month the Pope's comments. Now groups are taking self-censorship to new lows, which is nothing but appeasement for the uncivilized tribe called Islamic terrorists. But it goes further. President George W. Bush has submitted to appease the left, who leak information from classified documents to left-wing news media strictly for political purposes -- he has declassified the portions of National Intelligence Estimate document.

The declassified NIE report may just turn around and bite the leakers/left in their respective butts, because after reading the declassified portions, it appears it isn't really damaging to Republicans. But having said that, this is a terrible precedent to start ... they leak, ... the President declassifies ... when does it stop.

Greater pluralism and more responsive political systems in Muslim majority nations would alleviate some of the grievances jihadists exploit.

The left loves a cause to rally behind, as long as it ISN'T Americans, Christians, freedom, terrorism, ...

We can't even say 'Merry Christmas" in public stores or the public square, or on the official White House Christmas card, ... because of the left and ACLU it must be 'holiday', instead. What happened to freedom of expression and freedom of religion? Oh, it applies to everybody but Christians and Jews. Stop the ACLU in "House Passes Public Expression Of Religion Act: 244 to 173", says:

…it seeks to level the playing field so the ACLU cannot intimidate small towns and cash-strapped schools are not beholden to the anti-American, extra-constitutional ACLU agenda.

Don't hold your breath on the Senate passing this legislation, but you can notify your Senators and let them know how YOU feel about it.

Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict:

The basic message – "You Westerners no longer have the privilege to say what you will about Islam, the Prophet, and the Qur'an, Islamic law rules you too" – will return again and again until Westerners either do submit or Muslims realize their effort has failed.
