Iran's President Ahmadinejad says that United States President George W. Bush is 'nothing', and Ahmadinejad would like to respond to President Bush's speech, but 'avoided using the US president's name, instead addressing him simply as "you". Ahmadinejad continued, "Your problem is that you think that your nuclear and chemical weapons can keep you in power". He reiterated that he is 'ready for an uncensored debate', either on TV or at the United Nations in October.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday hit back at George W Bush after he compared Iranian leaders to al-Qaeda, saying the US president was "nothing" compared to the will of God."I am telling him (Bush) that all the world is threatening you since the general path that the world is taking is towards worshipping God and divinity," Ahmadinejad said in a fiercely religious speech.
"This massive stream is moving and you are nothing in comparison to God's will," he told a conference ahead of a major festival on Saturday marking the birth of the "hidden" 12th Shi'a Imam Mahdi. ...
The US president vowed that "America will not bow down to tyrants", recalling that Ahmadinejad had vowed last month that the United States must "bow down" before Iran.'
"Iran will pave the way for the appearance of Mahdi," said Massoud Seyyed Aghayi, the head of the conference [International Conference on Mahdaviyat Doctrine]. source
On the conference:
The two-day conference on Mahdaviyat Doctrine aims to promote the culture and thoughts of the last Imam of the Age and last descendant of Prophet Mohammad's (PBUH) Infallible Household -- Imam Mahdi (May God Hasten His Reappearance).Over 110 representatives from 45 states are taking part in the conference. source
Do Ahmadinejad's words sound child-like to you? 'Waaa haaa, I'm not going to use your name, waaa haaa, I'm just going to call you -- you!' stomp stomp A spoiled, stubborn, full-of-himself tyrant, anticipating the end of the world, and believing he is the one to issue it in. And he's going to be here in the United States to give a speech at the United Nations. CONDI, do something! And then there's this:
"We are against the use of force and weapons as well as against US and British plans to dominate the world, but we are ready to discuss the issue and listen to their argumentations," the Iranian president added. source
If he is against the use of force and weapons, why has he been conducting month long war games, including missile launching submarines, fighter jets and bombers, etc? I heard Rush say today that 'any time good and evil negotiate -- evil wins'. I agree. Talking and negotiating with Iran serves no one except Iran.
