These are the new 'hospital gowns for Muslims' as introduced in British hospitals. I'm not sure if these are just for the patients or if they are also for the nurses and doctors. Can you imagine trying to examine a patient dressed in a gown like this? Can you imagine performing delicate surgery or caring for patients dressed like this?
Huge hat tip to Blue Star Chronicles for this and also for her quote from the Evening Post article:
The only problem with this gown, is that once you get into surgery it won't make any difference. The nurses will strip you down, Muslim, Christian, athiest, whatever .... to your birthday suit, almost. A doctor can't perform surgery through fabric and there is no modesty in the surgery suite. The entire idea is just an attempt at dhimmitude, as Beth points out. She also says, "They don’t even have to wage war for us to capitulate to their demands." How right she is.Muslim women booking into hospital for operations can now respect their religion by wearing this unique burka-style gown.
The 'Inter-Faith Gown' is the brainchild of Karen Jacob, the linen services manager at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the first such gown to be introduced in the country and patients at Preston and Chorley hospitals will now have the opportunity to wear it if they wish.
This is worse than the Muslim swimwear, also here

What's wrong with that?
Ovbviously when the surgery takes place it comes off, but when the person is walking in the hospital or not in surgery then it is useful.
Where is the common sense?
