Hispanics Convert to Islam

Hispanics, specifically American Hispanics, are converting to Islam at a rapid pace. Is this of interest to you? Would it be of interest if I told you it is all the Republican's fault? Well, that's what the article says.

. . . a growing number of Hispanics across the US who have found common ground in a faith and culture bearing surprising similarities to their own heritage. From professionals to students to homemakers, they are drawn to the Muslim faith through marriage, curiosity and a shared interest in issues such as immigration.

The population of Hispanic Muslims has increased 30 percent to some 200,000 since 1999, estimates Ali Khan, national director of the American Muslim Council in Chicago. Many attribute the trend to a growing interest in Islam since the 2001 terrorist attacks and also to a collision between two burgeoning minority groups. They note that Muslims ruled Spain centuries ago, leaving an imprint on Spanish food, music, and language.

"Many Hispanics ... who are becoming Muslim, would say they are embracing their heritage, a heritage that was denied to them in a sense," says Ihsan Bagby, professor of Arabic and Islamic studies at the University of Kentucky.

The trend is a sign that Islam is becoming more Americanized and more indigenous to the country, Bagby says. As Republican positions on issues such as immigration push Muslim Hispanics and blacks in a less conservative direction, Islam could move in the same direction...Christian Science Monitor

Apparently it is very important to get this message out over and over again.

It is getting more common to hear Spanish in mosques and have Hispanic imams . . . And here's the kicker, "Earlier this year Muslims joined Hispanics in marches nationwide protesting immigration-reform proposals they felt were unfair."

Yes, ...there it is,... the Muslims support illegal aliens. How long will it be before Hispanic Muslims will be recruited for jihad???

Jack, I dunno about that. Many people find the thought of being beheaded for failing to convert a frightening possibility. Very few people would be willing to accept that punishment for failing to convert.

And I find that it's mostly people of little or no faith in Jesus that are most frightened by it. True Christians (and whether anyone is a true Christian is between them and Jesus, I make no judgements) are not frightened by death at all because they know where they are going.

Remember Revelations 20:4 which states:

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

I have been in the Woodlands this week doing some training. Woodlands is a town NE of Houston that is the fastest growing area in TX and maybe the nation. Literally 100's of ongoing construction projects mostly done with hispanic labor. I didn't see a one stop for prayer. I did see many stop for an afternoon siesta.

Islam may be the fastest growing religion for one reason only and it's not conversion. It's because they are breeding like rabbits!

WorldNetDaily has been following the "illegal" work of an unsactioned by Congress department of the government that is working toward the MERGING of Mexico, Canada and the US! What makes this so frightening is the complete lack of any intelligent actions to secure our borders. How long will it be before illegal immigrants begin helping their Moslem brothers enter our country? Somehow, I think it's already happened.
