Kofi is a joke, just like the UN he supposedly leads

I just don't get it. Really. The United Nations gives a deadline that isn't worth spit, then Kofi trots his sorry butt over to Iran to kiss Ahmadinejad's rearend ... like it did any good. Ahmadinejad made a fool out of Annan, as if anyone could make him more of a fool than he already is. The trip just made the UnUnited Nations look like a useless pile of crap. Then I wake up this morning and read this, via Mere Rhetoric:

Israel has not ruled out the release of Samir Kuntar, the Lebanese terrorist whose freedom has long been sought by Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, in the framework of a deal to bring home captured IDF soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, The Jerusalem Post has learned. Kuntar, the longest-serving confirmed Lebanese prisoner in jail in Israel, is serving multiple life terms for the killing of three members of the Haran family and that of policeman Eliyahu Shahar in a raid on Nahariya in 1979. source

I want Israel to get their soldiers back home safely, but at what price? As I reported here, they are already willing to give up 1,000 Hamas members for one soldier, Gilad Shalit. The UnUnited Nations has a complete commission set up to investigate Israel. Are they investigating Lebanon, or Hezbollah, or .... Nope!

Annan has already trusted Syria to guard the border with Lebanon and stop the flow of weapons. Fox in hen house!

The terrorists and enemies of freedom don't care who you are, what religion, what race, what sexual preference, or how much you suck up to them, as with Kofi, ... at the end of the day they still want to kill you and your family. via Lefty Kool-Aid Sucking B.S. Exposed. Oh, and if you are a soldier or a journalist, "We have the Islamic right to kill these journalists and media", says Mullah Dadullah, Taliban military commander for south and southeastern Afghanistan.

To take this stupidity one step further, the BBC is suggesting, "Is it time to talk to Al Qaeda?". I'm sure Kofi will sign on for that trip too. He is getting to be more of a media hound than Ahmadinejad, Zawahiri or Chavez.

Somewhere a pig is flying! This is probably one of the only issues I will EVER gladly hop on board with this Iranian regime but here it is folks From Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Sep. 04 – Iran suggested on Monday that the United Nations headquar... [Read More]

"As I reported here, they are already willing to give up 1,000 Hamas members for one soldier, Gilad Shalit."

Won't happen, but I don't envy Olmert who has to make the decision.

I think it would be O'K to swap kidnapped soldiers for some of the Hamas/HA members that were captured after the kidnapping.

Rastaman, there is no need to worry about the prisoners now. Kofi Annan has volunteered to negotiate for their release. All is well....

Bahwhwhwhahahahahah

At least it's glaringly easy to see who our enemies are. Goofy Annan and the BBC no longer make any effort at all to hide where their sympathies lie. I see this as a good thing, actually. No hidden surprises.

Prisoners... I've been looking all over the Net for the latest scoop on this and what I find are all sorts of stories from supposedly knowledgeable sources that "yes, one is in the works", "No, it isn't", 800 Palestinians, a handful of Hezbollah, "No, no, no, never"..... So who knows? If there is an exchange I don't think we'll know about it until it takes place.
Personally I hope there is no exchange. Israel should stop dealing with terrorists.
