Islam Hates Women

Two articles you must know about today, Young Woman Fears Deportation, and Mutilation and Muslim Cleric: Women Are Like Meat Left In The Street.

The first article is about Adama Bah who is in the 10th grade at Heritage High School in Manhattan. She reportedly spent six weeks in a distant juvenile detention center because the U.S. government thought she ws a potential suicide bomber.

She is still wearing an electronic ankle bracelet and tethered to a 10 p.m. government curfew, restrictions that were conditions of her release. And she was still facing deportation to Guinea, where she has not lived since she was 2.

Today, at a closed hearing in Manhattan’s federal building, she will plead for political asylum from Guinea’s entrenched practice of female genital mutilation, which has marked all the women in her extended family, including her mother. An immigration judge could decide her fate on the spot.

Officially, she and a 16-year-old Bangladeshi girl arrested in Queens the same day were detained solely because their childhood visas were no longer valid. That remains the only reason Ms. Bah is in deportation proceedings, and the sole legal basis for an order last year that released the other girl, Tashnuba Hayder, on the condition that she leave the country immediately.

Even now, Ms. Bah says she has no idea whether her slight acquaintance with Ms. Hayder was what caused agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to hold her for questioning. Though a document provided by a federal agent at the time said the F.B.I. considered the girls “an imminent threat” to national security, it provided no evidence, and officials refused to discuss the matter. source

The article seems to be a little biased toward Ms. Bah. I don't know the evidence the government had for taking her into custody or their reason to fear she might be a suicide bomber here in the U.S. I do know that her visa had expired, she is here illegally, and should be deported. But the sympathy comes in when the potential 'female mutilation' is tossed into the mix. According to an 'expert', 'In Guinea, “If a girl’s genitals are not mutilated, she is considered dirty, repulsive, unfit for marriage and motherhood, and devoid of morals and monetary value.”

“Elder women perform the procedure on dimly lit floors, with dull kitchen knives, glass shards, scissors or razor blades,” the affidavit said.

Ms. Bah’s mother, Aissatou Dalanda Bah, who has separately applied for asylum, had her clitoris excised by her grandmother with a kitchen knife when she was about 10, the court papers said. Later, she watched helplessly as one of Adama’s cousins bled to death from the procedure. source

However there are other facts: 'Her father, a cabdriver who was arrested along with her and held on immigration violations, stayed in detention until his deportation last month. Her mother, illiterate and speaking little English, soon lost the family business, a trinket stand.' Now she is befriended by Mauri Saalakhan, 53, who attends a local mosque.

Her family’s association with Mr. Saalakhan raised eyebrows this spring when he invited her to join spectators at the trial of a Pakistani immigrant accused — and eventually convicted — of plotting to blow up the Herald Square subway station in 2004. source

Ms. Bah's situation confirms the low status that Muslims give to their females. So the next story fits right in that vein. A sheik says that women are just like meat left on the street.

Australian “Mufti Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali has enraged Muslim women and the wider community by comparing women to meat left out in the street that only has itself to blame if eaten by animals.”

“If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it…whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat,” the sheik told the congregation.
“The uncovered meat is the problem.

“If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab (Islamic headdress), no problem would have occurred.” (Go read the rest of the article and the commentary.)

Here are two articles that Americans, specifically women, need to understand. If, heaven forbid, sharia law ever got a hold in the U.S. then YOU would be subject to these examples of treatment. Stand up women's groups? Where are you? Where is your outrage against these Muslim men and their treatment of women?

By the way, my blog on the 24th has a link to an artical in Atlanta that has a father being brought up on charges for female cirumcission. It make me sick to my stomach that a father could do this. SITH!

Why would somebody follow a religion that calls for this kind of act? I have read numerous stories on this very issue. Where is NOW, and the other women's lib groups? Tell me again how the world would be better with women in charge? Sounds to me like they have similar problems to us men.
