The righteous man walks in his integrity. OTA Wednesday
The righteous man walks in his integrity. --Proverbs 20:7
People of integrity are committed to a life of excellence -- seeking to be better or to go beyond what is normally expected of them. Having integrity means you do the right thing even when nobody is looking . . . and you keep your word even if it costs you something.I encourage you to make excellence a habit, by following the example of Jesus, our standard of integrity. As God's representative, you are called to show the world what He is like -- and you may be the only Bible some people read. --Joyce Meyer Devotionals
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. --Psalm 32:1-2
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. --Psalm 30:5
Give thanks this Thanksgiving week for all the blessings God has given you.

You're right, of course, in all things give thanks. Thanks for reminding us.

We can never begin to count all our blessings. But it is fitting that we should take time and give thanks for specific ones dear to our hearts.
May your Thanksgiving be a blessed one!

Debbie, a wonderful and inspiring post. I would only make one recommended change:
"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;" - Ephesians 5:20
Give thanks for all things, not just blessings because:
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28
I know it's not easy, but we must try to do so. In the last week, my brother-in-law was arrested and put in jail, my wife's car has broken down twice, and I did not get a paycheck last week. Oddly enough though, I give thanks to God for all of these things. And, it turns out, that He has used them for good.
My brother-in-law may learn a lesson about his actions and associations, but my son most certainly did learn this lesson (we talked about it on the phone today).
The car dealership is working with my wife and I to get the vehicle repaired and they will pay for it (though we will be working out a repayment plan). So my wife will have her car back and be able to get around.
And not having a paycheck proved that I could actually live on $30 for a whole week (though it wasn't easy). Naturally, I'll be looking at my budget to trim it down a LOT from normal.
God took three disasters (relatively) in my life and turned them to His purpose.
