In the darkness of night

Living in the desert in Iraq

 

Where the stars

Always shine bright

 

Fighting those that are evil

With all our might

 

So others can sleep

Through out the night

 

Without no worries

To see the next daylight

 

Some gave it all

Some gave it none

 

So we can live

All as one

 

When you see the stars at night

Remember why they shine bright

 

Because of the ones

That gave it all during the night

 

This saying is for them

Not for me but the ones that keeps us free

 

And thanks to you all
