The Sane War Manifesto

Hillary Clinton has finally presented her plan for the war on terror. After her trip to Iraq, complete with presidential-looking photo op with Iraqi leaders, she has decided (1) Afghanistan needs more troops; (2) Iraq needs less (or no) troops; (3) our troops need to be financed; (4) financing to the Iraqis needs to be cut off. Funny, I didn't hear one word from her about winning the war, or about victory, or the consequences of pulling troops out of Iraq. This just proves my belief that politicians should not be in charge of wars.

My friend James says, "By approaching war in a constricted mode, politicians have the final say. By partaking in all out war, the Generals have the say. When we have conducted all out wars we have won." Politicians, especially those on the left, make decisions on their 'feelings', using some strange concept of political correctness to make decisions. James says, "Place your sensitivities in the closet and go kill the enemy," if you want to win wars.

How we fight this war, and exactly who the enemy is, continues to be a topic of debate. J.D. comments, "In seeking laser precision, we prolong battle, and encourage the enemy and the net result is what we sought to avoid -- needless deaths and carnage." So what should our 'war plan' be since it seems 'the attempt since World War 2 to cut down on the carnage of warfare has created a situation that eliminates an outright winner.'

A Freedom Fighter's Journal, in "A Declaration of War on Islamic Tyranny ", published "The SANE War Manifesto". Here's a sample (emphasis mine):

On the so-called Global War on Terrorism, GWOT, we have been quite clear along with a few other resolute souls. This should be a WAR AGAINST ISLAM and all Muslim faithful. In particular, historical, traditional, and authoritative Shari’a, or the Islamic Way of Life, bound most tightly by Islamic law and jurisprudence, or fiqh, is the focus of the ideology which drives our enemy. People who don’t grasp that Islam is first and foremost a religious ideology built on a legal foundation or jurisprudence simply don’t understand Islam.

All traditional Islamic legal schools adhere to the notion that the Islamic world must persuade, conquer, or kill all of the non-Islamic world (dar al-kufr) and convert this territory to the Land of Submission to Allah (dar al-Islam). The particular emphasis on the jihadist strategic issues varies – such as aggressive and offensive outright war or a more subtle and deceptive war which capitalizes on the infidel’s inclination toward appeasement; suicide-homicide attacks against soldiers and "settlers" or the murder of all infidels whether they be men, women or children; and other such tactical issues. But the Islamic legal dictate to conquer the world for Mohammad's rightful successor to establish the World State Caliphate occupied by the One People (Ummah) in submission to Allah is the common denominator. The actual or physical enemy is any Muslim who adopts or accepts historical and traditional Shari’a as authoritative. [snip]

Ignoring the enemy and fighting a tactic such as terrorism or worse, reducing the enemy to just those men and women dressed up in their suicide bombs on the way to attack civilians is to open the US and the West to death and destruction by the parts. [snip]

At a practical level, this means that Shari’a and Islamic law are immediately outlawed. Any Moslem in America who adopts historical and traditional Shari’a will be subject to deportation. Mosques which adhere to Islamic law will be shut down permanently. No self-described or practicing Muslim, irrespective of his or her declarations to the contrary, will be allowed to immigrate to this country.

The US will cease trade and all economic ties with countries which embrace Shari’a and with countries which befriend the Shari’a-based regimes. This includes the duplicitous oil-rich Gulf states.

The US will take emergency measures to open up new oil extraction facilities in US territories and will immediately make available land and reasonable regulatory structures for new refineries. Massive free market incentives such as marketable and securitized coupons and vouchers will be used to promote alternative fuels.

America and its Western allies will quarantine every enemy regime and will search out and destroy the leadership and the physical infrastructure of these regimes with air bombardment, drones, airborne gunships, sea-based missiles, special ops, and covert activities. We will not occupy these territories to “build democracies” or even to replace regimes directly. We will simply quarantine and police these regimes with a hair-trigger response to hostile behavior. I've mentioned before how the enemy within our own borders uses our freedoms and our own laws against us. The 'left' in this country along with the main stream media, give aid and comfort to the enemy of America. One single example is the flying Imam hoax. Mark Sheppard in Men's News Daily says:

In a swindle blending the shakedown tactics of Jesse Jackson with the outright fabrications of Al Sharpton, the flying imams set out to provide Democrats the perfect cover to breathe life into a deservedly dying bill — The End Racial Profiling Act. Passage of this absurd waste of paper would all but assure terrorists unfettered access to our greatest of vulnerabilities – particularly airlines.

The grift likely began in Minneapolis on November 18th, where approximately 150 Imams attended the annual conference of the North American Imams Federation. The stated theme was “Towards Improving Imams Professionalism and Community Outreach.” But their immediate purpose was to stage an event that would dupe their enemies into enacting law which would be tantamount to suicide.

It’s clear that modern Jihadists have learned to utilize liberal intolerance of collateral damage and civilian casualties when waging public opinion wars abroad. But here at home, they know the secret lies in exploiting liberal intolerance of, well — intolerance.

With just that in mind, this pack of terror-sympathizers hatched the perfect plot to outrage their weak-kneed allies on the left into a quite predictable course of action. These architects of fear included such stand-up “American” Muslims as:

• Siraj Wahhaj – an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 plot to blow up several New York Landmarks and a “character witness” for Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman. The “Blind Sheikh,” now reportedly on his death bed, is serving a life sentence in the U.S. Medical Center for Prisons in Springfield, Mo. He was the “spiritual leader” of the terror cell that carried out the first World Trade Center bombing and was planning to blow up the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels.

• Ashrafuzzaman Khan — who is alleged to have run the Jamaati executioners death squads during the Bangladesh war. He escaped prosecution for the murders of a group of Bengali intellectuals when he fled that country in 1971.

• Imam Dr. Omar Shahin - who has been linked to fund raising activities for both al-Qaeda and Hamas. He’s currently the President of NAIF and served 3 years as Imam and director of the Islamic Center of Tucson. The ICT’s former president, Wael Hamza Jalaidan is believed to be a founder of Al Qaeda. Alumni of the mosque read like a whose-who of Islamo-terrorists, including Hani Hanjour, the Saudi who flew American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon on 9/11.

Of definite note was the presence of guest speaker Rep. Keith (Hakim Mohammed) Ellison, a CAIR hand-puppet and the first Muslim ever elected to Congress. The Minnesota Democratic freshman and unrepentant radical Muslim. (read it all) [snip]

Whether the eager-to-oblige “proud” co-sponsors of the original act, Rep. Conyers and Speaker-to-be Pelosi were merely “marks” or something more is still open to conjecture. Then again, which would be worse – control of the House by those who would conspire with our enemies or those who would be so easily duped by them?

That’s some choice.

Mr. Sheppard concludes, "The Expected Payoff: The End Racial Profiling Act of 2007 (S. 2138)", which as I have reported previously, is one of Rep. Ellison's goals.

There were some calls for Muslims to boycott certain airlines. There have also been demands for apologies from the airlines and lawsuits for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Some went so far as to suggest a Muslim only airline, Air Islam. That would have it's own unique set of problems. (heh)

Did you know 'that al-Qaeda is retreating already because of the presidents new counterinsurgency strategy for Baghdad.' We are a media-led society, but are we so shallow that we need a television series to point us to the obvious?

On Monday Night on Fox TV's smash hit "24" series dared to go where no other media has dared to go before - to show a U.S. city being nuked by Islamic terrorists living right here in the good old U.S.A. This was meant to awaken a somnambulant American people to the presence of a threat nobody seems to want to think about, or for that matter, even consider possible.

Where the show's producers broke new ground was in showing the terrorists as here and very much present within our borders, and not merely in some far-flung Middle Eastern battleground. Moreover, they did not hesitate to suggest that hiding under the banner of political correctness were terrorists and their abettors who conceal themselves among their innocent fellow Muslims much as the fellow terrorist insurgents in Iraq hide among the innocent civilian population. --Phil Brennan (read it all)

We need some sanity here in the United States of America. We need to put aside political maneuvering and media bias and come together united ... united against one enemy, no matter what it takes.

I agree, we should do all those things. I just doubt that we'll do any of them. I think it's far more likely that vigilante groups will attack the muslims and mosques here, than that our government will ever do anything.

But hey, ya never know.
