Mohammed Taheri-azar, Jihad Bubba

Mohammed Taheri-azar, Jihad Bubba as I'm calling him. I reported on this terrorist at the time of his attack. He planned for months to attack Americans at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and followed through with his plans. You can read a handwritten letter written by him in Prison on March 10 and his biography here.
Mr. Taheri-azar was in court today. Before the proceedings could begin, he shouted "death to America"; "I hate all Americans"; "All Jews. May they all burn in hell. Death to Israel." But remember, he's just a crazy guy, not a terrorist. Right.
WRAL.com notes his comments are very similar to those in his almost 100 letters to The Daily Tar Heel. Note the spelling:
"In the last year, Taheri-azar, 23, a UNC alumnus, has written nearly 100 letters to The Daily Tar Heel. In the last two weeks alone, newspaper staff members say, there have been nearly a dozen.“Death to Israel,” Taheri-azar said Monday, along with yelling anti-Jewish remarks and calling his attorney incompetent.
A hand-written recent written letter that Taheri-azar sent to UNC's school paper, The Daily Tar Heel, from Central Prison in Raleigh, struck a similar tone.
"He said, ‘I also consider the public defender, James E. William (sic) a vermonous dishonest scumbag, embosil, moron,’" quoted Sarah Gregory, a Daily Tar Heel reporter who is working on a story about the letters. The language and spelling are Taheri-azar’s.
Here's what The Daily Tar Heel has to say, one year later:
Instead of experiencing a widespread knee-jerk reaction against all Muslims, the UNC community came together as collective victims of the actions of one disturbed individual. People across campus began to take time to learn about Islam, still a very foreign religion to many, despite the fact that about 3 million Muslims live in the United States.
To his attorney, referring to the judge, he said, "I don't know this moron." Heh. That's when he was removed from the courtroom. Good for you judge.
James Williams, Taheri-azar's lawyer reacted to his outburst. "He does have a severe mental illness and that mentall illness affects his actions and I believe affected his actions on the day in question and still affects his behavior and was affecting his behavior in court today," Williams said.Taheri-azar pleaded not guilty in January to 19 counts attempted murder and assault charges. He is currently being held at Central Prison in Raleigh on a $5.5 million bond.
Officials have transported Taheri-azar to Dorothea Dix Hospital for a full mental evaluation. Doctors there will decide whether or not he's fit to stand trial. (source)
Watch the video at Hot Air, but be sure to listen to Taheri-azar's southern drawl, y'all. It's a hoot. But remember he is a terrorist. He drove his SUV into a crowd of students with the intention of killing as many as possible.
Media sources were quick to report that he was "not-a-terrorist". Knuckling under to Muslim pressure I presume. The only thing missing is the obligatory "He's such a good boy."
The Jawa Report says:
That's a geniune redneck right there. Regular "bubba". But I'm sure the accent explains why very few of the media outlets covering his trial mentions that he's a Muslim who went out of his way to kill infidels at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, last year. He's simply described as "crazy", and with that accent, who could argue?Just remember: this-was-not-an-act-of-terrorism. Repeat that three times while clicking your heels together.
While many have referred to this incident as "sudden jihad", it really isn't. Daniel Pipes:
He was student council president and a member of the National Honor Society. Classmates described him as kind and gentle, though somewhat of a loner. As it turned out, Taheri-azar's attack was not really that "sudden" either. According to Pipes, he had planned his attack for two years before carrying it out. (source)

Yeah, that accent is something else. I'm in Tennessee and I can assure you I don't talk that way.
Why is it all these guys are suddenly 'insane' and not responsible for their actions. I don't buy it.

Okay. I want to know what's wrong with those people that there was NOT a knee-jerk reaction against all muslims. Isn't it time that all our knees started jerking in rythm and we do the Muslims Stomp?
I guess we'll keep sucking up the "not-terrorist", "not-muslim" crap until we're hit in the face with it so much that it's running off our chins and ruining our shoes.
Sigh.
I vote for dancing.

Dayum! Check out the ack-sent!
I live here in NC, spittin' distance from Chapel Hill and that ain't no southern boy.
He's a cuckoo, alright, but not insane; he's a foreign egg planted in the American nest, nurtured by our lovely 'open society' mama-bird.
