Mock Day Labor Hiring Sites
The Southern Connecticut Citizens for Immigration Reform is planning what they call " THE IF YOU CAN’T BEAT ‘EM…JOIN ‘EM PROJECT! " It's a wonderful idea and I think more communities should follow suit. Here's what Bill Shields, a representative for the group says:
... we are targeting certain politicians’ residences to hold them accountable for their actions. We will be setting up Mock Day Labor Hiring Sites. Our mission in this project is as follows:1) To demonstrate through irony how we are onto the Fat Cats flooding the labor market with a cheap work force in order to enrich themselves.
2) To drive home the point to the Elitists, that if their jobs were at stake ...Illegal Immigration would stop!
3) To raise awareness and opposition to Illegal Immigration in the Stamford, Ct. area.
4) To gain media attention on this issue and for our groups.
Imagine the look on Mayor Malloy’s face when he looks out and sees us dressed up in suits, mockingly soliciting in a Day Laborer’s pickup area for jobs as CPA’s, Trial Lawyers, Doctors, Politicians, etc. right in his front yard!
I will also be in contact with the Minutemen of New York, VDARE, United Patriots of America, Sachem Quality of Life in Long Island (or those formerly known as), as well as locals. All these activities are 100% lawful and will actually be fun. We will be gathering footage for our upcoming video series on illegal immigration. We also expect this event to be well attended by media. We at SCtIR hope you guys can attend .
My name is Bill Shields and I can be reached at 203-314-2918. IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO CAN HELP OR POST THIS MESSAGE....PLEASE POINT THEM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION; Thanks again.
P.S. As props, we will be brining 5 gallon spackle buckets with special fitted toilet seats with Mayor Malloy’s and other sell out politicians photos pasted on the bottom of the seats. What do you think?
If you can possibly help, please feel free to call or write us at Sctirusa@lycos.com. TENTATIVE DATES FOR THE STAMFORD EVENT IS: SATURDAY APRIL 7th, 11:00 am-2:00 pm or SATURDAY, APRIL 14th or 21st from 11:00 am-2:00 pm based on attendance availabilty

RESPONSE TO E.W.
Hello, my name is Bill. I'm from SCTIR.
Being a dad myself, I can relate to your sentiment, and rest assured we at SCtIR will behave peacfully and in a law abiding manner .But simply by voicing such concerns you make my point! Nobody in their right minds wants to deal with a large group of indigents; especially those whose sole purpose in being here, is to take American jobs. Where is the righteous indignation when my neighbor is out of work and anguishes with the spectre of feeding his family? Economizing words; the Malloys of this world have no problem with us having to deal with illegals in our front yards... many who are convicts or God knows what! No my friend, I say to Mr.Malloy and his ilk...."Sew the wind, reap the whirlwind."
UPDATE: THIS PROJECT WILL COMMENCE APRIL 21ST, SATURDAY from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. DIRECTIONS to this MUSTER SITE will be posted on the SCTIR Website in approx. two weeks time. Thank you.

whoa...it's one thing to tell a politician his ideas stink (i do that daily) but it's another thing to bring that dispute to his home and involve his kids. a politician's children are at the mercy of his/her parent's decisions and shouldn't be subjected to stuff like this (it's scary stuff). protest all you want at a politcian's office or at a conference he'll be attending (the more the merrier), but bringing it to his home seems pretty inappropriate.
