A professor at Kent State University is allegedly a member of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and just recently was found operating a hate website (www.KillTheNegroes.com), according to a report by Mike S. Adams. Mr. Adams says, 'The site has been closed but the controversy still looms because of some comments the professor has posted on blogs under the name “Lover of Anglos” while using his Kent State email address.'
I cannot express how offensive this is to me as a 'white' person. I am completely against any form of racism and there is no place whatsoever for this kind of hate in America. The fact that he is teaching in a university is unacceptable to me, just like having a follower of Islamic hate is also unacceptable. This man has no place around children or young adults.
Kent State History Professor's name is Julius Piner. While Mr. Piner's comments are horribly beyond words, as you will see below, the university is apparently standing behind his right to free speech. According to Mr. Adams:
One humanities professor said the following“If the constitution protects anything it protects the right to express offensive views. I don’t see what all the fuss is about.”
One of Piner’s colleagues in the History Department said the following:
“I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion. To my knowledge, he hasn’t actually killed any Negroes.”
And, finally, here is what a Kent State spokesperson had to say about Piner:
[snip] there is no evidence that he ever advocated killing Negroes in his class lectures. We all have to remember that academic freedom is an important part of university life, even when we disagree with the views being expressed.”
Below are some of his comments, but be warned they are beyond x-rated.
Some examples of the vile postings follow:How many times have I told you people---you write the blogs, I'll brainwash your children!

You f***ing people. You don't know the first thing about flying a plane into a black church! The fact is, you want me aboard that plane, you need me on that plane! Otherwise, I suggest you start taking flying lessons aboard a Cessna. Sweet dreams, b***hes!

If a mother***ker like you can't tell the difference between a Radical Klansman and democrats, you're an even stupider c**t than I suspected.

It's cojones, stupid mother***ker. The kind you lack, since when someone disagrees with you, he runs crying to his mommy, AKA the US government:"PLEASE, PROTECT ME FROM THIS COLLEGE PROFESSOR WHOSE VIEWS I DON'T LIKE!! (read more if you can stomach it)
And finally some voices of reason:
Of course, many disagree with Kent State’s defense of Piner. Some of the most compelling reasons follow:1. The “Kill the Negroes” site contained essays calling for the cleansing and purification of society via the mass murder of blacks.
2. Piner distributed videos on the website showing the actual lynching of blacks.
3. Piner circulated instructions on how to bomb black churches in the South.
4. Piner circulated a “battle dispatch” to give people specific information on America’s most “notorious” black churches.
If you are as disgusted as I am, I know you will take the time to contact Ron Kirksey. Ron is the University Spokesman for Kent State. He can be reached via phone at 330-672-8535 or via e-mail atrkirksey@kent.edu.
What's going on in our colleges and universities, specifically Kent State? I reported earlier this month on Julio Pina, a professor at Kent State who is preaching and teaching Islamic jihad via his different websites. He is allegedly, via his own words, a follower of Osama Bin Laden and Islamic jihad. Read a bit of the website for yourself (compliments of The Jawa Report):
We are a jihadist news service, and provide battle bispatches, training manuals, and jihad videos to our brothers worldwide. All we want is to get Allah’s pleasure. We will write "Jihad" across our foreheads, and the stars. The angels will carry our message throughout the world.
My original story on Julio Pina here, follow-up here
Threatening the lives of innocent human beings should not fall under free speech, it falls under the 'hate speech' category. I would hope that law enforcement would check these guys out. Or should we wait until they can be connected to a death before action is taken?
UPDATED: Well, I took the bait as did many others, and wondered how long it would take readers to pick up on the 'satire' of Mr. Adams. Captains Quarters wondered the same thing I did this afternoon. Was the similarity in the names Julio Pina, and Julius Piner just a weird coincidence or was Mr. Adams up to some mischief?
You've got to admit the article makes for very good discussion and I'm happy to report that at least one reader here picked up on the 'satire'. Anon, who did not mention his blog if he has one so I could give him some publicity, gets the prize.
PoliBlog got caught up in the mystery as did Wil's Corner here.
The Boring Made Dull thinks that maybe Mr. Adams got his idea for the KKK satire from him in this post:
I’m not sure why, but I suspect that if he had been posting to a KKK site, or burning crosses at Klan rallies, the University’s reaction would be somewhat different.
Touche'

Who gives a damn what he said? He didn't do manything - less than all the leftists in fact.
You must have a lot of time to waste.

Did I miss the part where you recognized that the Adams column is a satire pointing out the two faced nature of liberalism and that there really is no such person as Julius Piner?
The American Left will crucify anyone accused of hate speech as long as they don't worship Allah.

Egads! In Canada, we also have the right to free speech... with only ONE limitation... if that speech is defined as "hate" or incites acts of violence to any person or group, it's against the law. Thank goodness for this... and thank goodness, realistically, it's a law that's never been "abused"... although some might argue with the name Ernst Zundel... but he was passing out anti-Holocaust literature at schools... they neglect that bit.
