Ahmadinejad's at it again

It's been so long since Iran's President Ahmadinejad thrilled us with one of his catchy phrases, but today he's back in action. I guess his time of standing in the corner getting spanked by the Mullahs for kissing the hand of his elderly teacher is over and he's baaaaack!

"If you think that by bombing and assassinating Palestinian leaders you are preparing ground for new attacks on Lebanon in the summer, I am telling you that you are seriously wrong," Ahmadinejad told a crowd in the city of Isfahan.

"If this year you repeat the same mistake of the last year, the ocean of nations of the region will get angry and will cut root of the Zionist regime from its stem," added Ahmadinejad, speaking live on state television.

Referring to the history of Israel, Ahmadinejad said that "60 years of invasion and assassination is enough. If you do not cease invasion and massacre, soon the hand of power of the nations of the region will rub you criminals with earth." (Herald Tribune)

Oh, snap!!! It wouldn't be right to go through a day without some hatred for Israel in the Middle East.

Here's more in Israel, rocket attacks, gas deals, lawsuits against the Palestinians, and Dhimmi Carter. Iran: Carter's Habitat For Inhumanity, Investors Business Daily

Leadership: In the name of human rights, Jimmy Carter gave rise to one of the worst rights violators in history — the Ayatollah Khomeini. And now Khomeini's successor is preparing for nuclear war with Israel and the West.

Amnesty International proves once again they are anti-Israeli and pro-Islamic. Yid With Lid has the story, but here's his personal comment:

... Groups like Amnesty International exist in the same mythological ideal world as those comic book heroes. Some reason people actually believe that groups like Amnesty International create reports that are accurate and without a political agenda. Sadly their reports are about as real world as is Spider-man.

Sometimes it even looks like Israel hates Israel. It has taken four years for Israel's Supreme Court to consider whether Israelis can sue the Palestinian Authority for damages incurred by terror and rocket attacks.

Israel's Supreme Court intends to rule on the issue in the upcoming days. Such a ruling could have far-reaching consequences regarding the status of the PA.

London Times reports British Gas close to signing deal to supply Israel with gas from off-shore field near Gaza. Hamas says will block deal, story at YNetNews. Hamas says BG plan to pump gas to Israel an ‘act of theft’.

The BG group, former owner of British Gas is about to sign a four billion dollar deal to supply Israel with gas found in an off-shore field near Gaza, the London Times reported Thursday.

Representatives from British Gas are scheduled to meet an Israeli team chosen by the Cabinet, to sign the 15-year contract. The Israeli Foreign Ministry, according to the Times, wants to close the deal "as soon as possible" regardless of the escalating violence in Gaza and the West Bank.

On the BG gas deal, Don Singleton says:

Paying for something is the same as theft? Muslims have a very strange idea of how to do business.

And the hate America crowd says, "U.S. has only itself to blame." Just kidding, that article is from Gulf News, written by Dr Marwan Al Kabalan, Damascus University, Syria.

Jordon, thanks so much for the links. I really like Daniel Pipes, he "gets it". I don't understand why the U.S. is being so wimpy lately right here inside our own borders. We will pay for it soon, you can be sure.
