The Democrats think they can "end the war", according to this article. Maybe they should consult with Zawahiri, who released another audio tape today praising Taliban Leader Mullah Dadullah. Zawahiri praised the martyrdom of Dadullah and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, saying they had "prepared, equipped and left behind hundreds of martyrdom-seekers who impatiently await the order to swoop down" on U.S.-led and Afghan government forces.
Or maybe the Democrats should consult with Iran's President Ahmadinejad, who has announced that he is supporting the efforts of the Taliban in Afghanistan. That support is in addition to the support he is already giving al-Qaeda, Iranians and others in Iraq.
Will the Democrats confer with Osama Bin Laden, who we learn (via newly declassified documents), instructed al-Qaeda in Iraq to plan future attacks on Americans both in Iraq and in the United States. This is "the war" folks. It involves Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Pakistan, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, ....
Congressional Democrats relented today on their insistence that a war spending measure sought by President Bush also set a date for withdrawing troops from Iraq.with this second sentence:
The decision to back down, described by senior lawmakers and aides, was a wrenching reversal for some Democrats, who saw their election triumph as a call to force an end to the war. This is an interesting assertion. Surely there can't be any Democrats who believe it in their power to "end the war"? [snip]
The sentence reflects a widespread misunderstanding about the killing in Iraq. It is not primarily a conflict between Iraqis and Americans. It is Iraqi killing Iraqi. And far from ending that, precipitate US troop withdrawal is quite likely to make it worse. [snip] -- The truth about withdrawal, from Dan Finkelstein, TimesOnline
Now Democrats, let's hear how you plan to "end the war". I really want to know.
UPDATE: Hillary Clinton wants the Pentagon to devise a surrender withdrawal plan and brief lawmakers on said plain. Read it all at bRight&Early, who wonders if he missed the elections and Hillary already thinks she is president.

War is hell!But DC, doesn't
beleive in hell,sheol, or

where can I post comments to the pieces of trash in the Mid-east? I am always wishing I could tell them a thing or two.

Good point BillT. I'm so glad that Edwards has no chance in Hades of becoming President. Can you imagine what it would be like?
Remember his theme last election? "Help is on the way." Ugh

John Edwards says there isn't even a war happening right now. How can they end what they won't even recognize?
