The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms that Iran has not suspended its enrichment-related activities. In fact Iran has expanded it's uranium enrichment. The eyeopeners (Reuters):
Six world powers stand behind U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding Iran suspend all nuclear fuel work in exchange for negotiations on trade incentives, with the threat of escalating sanctions if Tehran keeps refusing.
Six world powers and the United Nations can't get squat done to stop Iran, yet they are drafting a third, harsher batch of sanctions.
... a senior European diplomat at the Security Council said "I don't think we'll rush at it"
Nine U.S. warships are moving into the Gulf for maneuvers. Now that's something positive.
IAEA director Mohamed ElBaradei said nations should focus on capping Iran's enrichment. Has he lost his marbles?
The IAEA report said Iran had installed 1,640 centrifuges to enrich uranium and was injecting uranium "UF6" gas into some 1,300 of them running simultaneously ... [snip]Another official said the IAEA's grasp of the scope of Iran's nuclear plans was deteriorating due to increased restrictions on inspector movements over the past 18 months.
Translation, the IAEA doesn't really know what Iran is doing, how far along their nuclear program is ... nor do they really care about stopping that program.
Welcome to the world that depends on the United Nations for anything.

Amen Gentle Cricket. I pray we will support Israel also. But right now I wouldn't place bets on it. This are so split here in the US

UN Resolutions mean nothing. There were plenty of them before the Iraq invasion, yet many countries weren't willing to back up their words and help the good fight.
If anyone is going to stop Iran, it will be Israel. The US is the only other country that is taking their threat even remotely seriously, and we don't currently have the resources or national will to enter into another conflict. I just pray that the Left in this country and decent people around the world are willing to stand behind Israel when that day comes.
