Bush submits to Islam, again
This is one reason we're not winning the war against Islamic terrorists: "Bush to Speak at Islamic Center of Washington DC" (LGF and Atlas Shrugs)
On September 17, 2001, six days after the worst Islamic terror attacks ever on US soil, President Bush stood next to CAIR’s Nihad Awad at the Islamic Center of Washington DC, and pronounced ‘Islam is Peace’. [snip]
Tomorrow President Bush is returning to the Saudi-funded Islamic Center, to address its rededication ceremony—and further legitimize radical Islamic groups masquerading as “moderates,” without once asking them to renounce their openly-expressed support for terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hizballah.
The Islamic Center Washington, D.C. holds its rededication ceremony with remarks by President George W. Bush.

"Sir, Have You No Shame?" asks Vigilant Freedom 910 Blog:
The Administration claims to want to shut down terrorist groups. The groups represented at the President’s speech include CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, etc., which are known cover groups and fronts for the architects and funding sources of the Muslim Brotherhood and related Islamic terror groups. The President must state his firm commitment to shutting down these terror groups. The President must make the point that Islam as it is practiced by many of these groups is not a religion, but a political ideology which seeks to dominate the rest of us by force.

Bush has been a complete disappointment to the Conservatives. After all these years, one would think he could decline this invitation from the enemy

I really regret I voted for Bush. Too bad a ham sandwich wasn't running - I'd have voted for it instead.
If you regret Bush in any way, consider yourself a Paleocon and not a Neocon.

There is reason in the world why Pres Bush should speak an any Islamic event.
Until muslim groups start to unequivically denounce terrorism, and end the practice of lauding terrorists, they should be persona non grata for all US gov't officials and employees.
