Some turning against Israel - is the answer a healthy dose of neutron bombs?
Palestinians rush to Israel for protection and shelter when their own kind turn against them. The New York Times is again a Mouthpiece for Terrorist Propaganda against Israel by giving Ahmed Yousef, political adviser to Ismail Haniya, a platform to spew Hamas propaganda.
Any further attempts to marginalize us, starve our people into submission or attack us militarily will prove that the United States and Israeli governments are not genuinely interested in seeing an end to the violence. And for the finale, the veiled threat.
The Times should be ashamed of themselves. If they only had shame. (The American Israeli Patriot)
Egypt Makes Play For Gaza Resolution, The Bill T Blog:
From the Full Story at Forbes via Associated Press:Egypt's president has invited the Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian leaders to a peace summit, officials said Thursday, the biggest show of support yet by moderate Arab states for beleaguered Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The meeting will take place Monday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, said Israeli government spokeswoman Miri Eisin. Abbas, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Jordan's King Abdullah have been invited.
Abbas will call for a resumption of peace talks with Israel, arguing that only progress toward Palestinian statehood can serve as a true buffer against Hamas, which took control of Gaza by force last week, Abbas aide Saeb Erekat said."
Egypt has a huge stake in Gaza stability, since they would ultimately be saddled with the refugees. It appears that Hamas will be pushed out of the loop.In related news, 75% of Palestinians favor a new election. I will predict here that an election won't solve this problem. No way will Iran surrender a forward base for the destruction of Israel to something as whimsical as a democratic process.
More from MOHAMMED DARAGHMEH at Peace and Freedom
Mahmoud Zahar, the man widely believed to be leading Gaza’s new Hamas rulers, said Wednesday his group would be open to a cease-fire with Israel if the army halted its activities there and in the West Bank. He said Hamas was capable of halting the frequent rocket attacks out of Gaza. “But nobody will be the protector of the Israeli border,” he told The Associated Press. [snip]Hundreds of men, women and children rushed to the crossing after the Hamas takeover, among them Fatah loyalists who feared they’d be harmed by Hamas, despite the militants’ offer of amnesty. By Thursday, the passage, rank with the stench of urine and garbage, was nearly empty after it became clear that a mass exit to the West Bank was not approved.
Back in May of 2007 British journalists vote to boycott Israel, and now British doctors join them, claiming Israel is guilty of "war crimes." British Doctors Call To Boycott Israel, from The American Israeli Patriot
It wasn’t enough that British journalists voted to boycott Israel so the British doctors decided to embarrass themselves as well. This from In The Days;A group of 130 British doctors have called for a boycott of the Israel Medical Association and its expulsion from the World Medical Association. [snip]Outlining how they believe the Israeli Defence Force has “systematically flouted the fourth Geneva convention guaranteeing a civilian population unfettered access to medical services and immunity for medical staff”, the letter blamed Israel for destroying “any coherence in the (Palestinian) primary health system”.
The doctors then claimed the IMA has “refused” to protest about “war crimes” something, the doctors said they believe it “has a duty” to do.
In a comment at In the Days, Jenn-O says:
... since when does a medical association have a “duty” to protest anything?… doctors do not have a duty to be political activists… there is no mention of anything like this in the hippocratic oath… [snip]and for what reason?… i surmise that it is so that the terrorists can operate without restrictions…
When we read what's going on in the world today, sometimes it makes us think, "Let's just go ahead and nuke the damn Islamists off of the planet..."
Drastic times call for drastic measures. Some more drastic than others, I suppose, but none would solve the Middle East’s problems better than a healthy dose of neutron bombs flung out across the land. The merit of this plan is that it keeps those precious oilfields intact while ridding the world of those pesky, AK-47 toting radicals who want to subterfuge our way of life. Our high-intensity fission carpet-bombing would further solve the IED problem; there wouldn’t be any hostiles left to initiate the explosives. Yes, in a matter of hours, we could ‘silence’ all troubles of the region ranging from Somalia to Syria and from Sudan to Pakistan. True, the rest of the Islamic world will bitch like hell, but not openly while our trigger finger still has the itch. There’s historical precedence for my plan. We nuked Japan and today that nation builds the best automobiles, the finest electronics, and is one of the world’s most peaceful and prosperous family-oriented democracies around. [snip]
A glowing Islam could be a growing Islam; worth the expense of a few hundred neutron bombs. It would further solve our global warming and population problems – less population, less people with piss poor carbon foot prints. Last, but definitely not least, is the pièce de résistance: we would have brought our troops home long before the sands of Arabia started to swirl into towering mushroom clouds.
Now that I’ve convinced you that I’m stark raving mad, perhaps you will consider that other plans for peace within the Middle East are just as ridiculous, no matter how beneficial they may look on paper.
Oh, no, I'm not going to give you the other plans for peace that R.J. Godlewski suggests. You'll have to go visit him here and read them for yourselves. Also check out his latest novel, Bogdan Back Flies, (pdf).

I wish I were surprised, I am not. Amazing to me how the editorial board of the NY Times is so blatant in their hatred of Israel; yet again..why does it amaze me?
My whole life, I have heard the MidEast Crisis this and the MidEast Crisis that; end this now. Someone wake us from this on going nightmare we call the Palestian problem. The problem? Similiar to that of the racial left, they act like a bunch of two year olds with tantrums, once a solution is found they will have to rely on themselves, no one to blame; but you see that will never happen..and their tantrums are lethal.
Those that taunt Israel will pay the price, those that harm her and/or attempt to destroy her, and abuse her, will pay a price only God will knows. Makes me sick.

Destroy life and protect property. Mmmm.
I will say that after reading a few of hispieces, Godlewski is pretty "out there" when it comes to strategy. But do you know where I can get one of those neutron bomb "thingys?"

I have long been in favor of nuking Islam. It is way overdue. You can bet they would do it to us if and when they become able.
The neutron bomb idea is a great one. Preserve the infrastructure while eliminating all those seedy little bastards.

Thanks for the link as always and DAMN good piece.
There have been times where I have been SO frustrated about people encouraging actions against Israel and condemning Israel when they fight back, that I, too, have to take a deep breath before speaking or writing for fear of saying "Nuke em all" and let god sort them out.
So, I breath, get my logic back and try to come up with solutions, but the anger remains at what I see going on.
