Glasgow airport car bomb, hospital evacuated
Two Asian men drive a Jeep Cherokee into Glasgow Airport. Asian equals Pakistani, or other Middle Eastern heritage. Asian is the term the Brits use for Muslim, Middle-Eastern people, generally from the Pakistan area. Got it?

Airports in the United States have been put on alert to watch for possible car/truck bombs. The Department of Homeland Security will issue a statement later today.
Eyewitnesses said two Asian men were in a Jeep Cherokee which was driven at speed with flames coming out from underneath at 3.15pm this afternoon.After the crash, one of men, whose clothes were on fire, jumped out of the car and ran into the terminal building where he was tackled by a heroic holidaymaker.
Police then jumped on top of him as flames continued to rise from his body while terrified onlookers fled in all directions.
One eyewitness, who knocked the terrorist suspect over with his forearm said: "The man was wrestling with police on the ground.
"I had seen him and the other man get out of the car. The flames were burning through his clothes. Police were telling everybody to get back.
"Some people who were close by shouted "let him burn". (Daily Mail)
The hospital where one of the suspects was taken for treatment of his burns, has now been evacuated. More details to come.
Whether this is al-Qaeda, or al-Qaeda inspired, is not clear yet. New Castle and Edinburgh are on alert for possible terror attacks.

Yep, "Let him burn." I don't blame them for saying that. Also some of the average citizens assisted the police in apprehending one of the terrorists. Good for them.

I grok. It may be brutal, but considering the near-100% recidivism rate for terrorist prisoners, and the cost of life-incarceration, perhaps that would have been the best solution.
And a warning to other would-be martyrs: You will fail, and die in shame, with your enemies jeering you.
A message they can understand.

I understand the bystanders who said 'let him burn'. I guess that makes me a bad person (grin). That was actually my first thought when I heard he was on fire when he got out of the car.
Funny how the people he was trying to kill saved him. Yet people will call them cruel for saying 'let him burn'.
