If this is back in the hands of us people, does this mean we can start shooting them now? Hey, I'll help.

"Controlling illegal aliens is now up to the States and local communities"

Isn't that what Republicans wanted? Smaller federal government. BE careful what you wish for. No one in the federal government really wants to deal with this issue. It's all about acting like they are doing something about it. There are laws already on the books that are sufficient, but they just aren't enforced. The Democrats don't want to touch this issue because they are afraid of offending someone, and the Republicans don't want to change anything because they want cheap labor.

Thomas Hamilton

PS. To you Democrats:

Note the NAY list above and the Democrat senators highlighted.

The highlighted ones are the ones who flipped on the cloture vote.

Those that flipped, flipped because of political pressure. They do not have your best interests in mind.

Find yourselves a conservative Democrat and vote for them instead.

Thomas Hamilton

I have said many time that the roll of the Federal Gubment should be two things and two things only:

1. Print money.

2. Defend the shores.

They obviously have failed miserably on the later.

Other laws and decisions should be the responsibility of state and local gubments.

Immigration reform and enforement on local levels I fear will not work unless ALL areas choose to enforce the law. Failure of uniformity will eventually result in the migration of criminal invaders to "sanctuary areas" that choose not to enforce the law.

Immigration enforcement should still be a federal assignment and I think it is the job of the American people to force the federal gubment to do its job.

Here's my contribution:

Below is the list of Republican traitor senators that initially voted FOR cloture (this traitor list provided by Right Wing Rebel)

Bennett (R-UT), Bond (R-MO), Brownback (R-KS), Burr (R-NC), Coleman (R-MN), Collins (R-ME), Craig (R-ID), Domenici (R-NM), Ensign (R-NV), Graham (R-SC), Gregg (R-NH), Hagel (R-NE), Kyl (R-AZ), Lott (R-MS), Lugar (R-IN), Martinez (R-FL), McCain (R-AZ), McConnell (R-KY), Murkowski (R-AK), Snowe (R-ME), Specter (R-PA), Stevens (R-AK), Voinovich (R-OH), Warner (R-VA)

I challenge all of you bloggers to post this list each and every day on your blog until the last one on the list has been defeated. Pass this on to your fellow bloggers.

You folks in states with traitor senators should start thinking NOW about running true conservative candidates in the next senatorial primary in an attempt to replace these traitors with someone who will represent your true beliefs.

Publish this list each and every day. Do not let any of your readers forget.

Steve, I know. But we can't really expect any mass deportations to be seriously considered in Washington. It's a pipe dream. However, deporting one at a time via local communities is a possibility. We will have to wait and watch.

Steve Harkonnen

The link you provided, The speech Bush will never make, was excellent, except it didn't call for mass deportations.

That is what it will take to help solve our immigration crisis. I could never fathom what Bush is thinking in this regard.

America wants illegal immigrants deported, not granted amnesty.

What part of that does Bush not understand?
