The United States of America promises one million dollars to combat violent criminal gangs ... in Mexico and Central America. How much new money are they spending on securing the border between the US and Mexico in order to keep the gangs OUT of the US? According to the BBC article:
The money will be spent on improving intelligence sharing and co-operation, and police training.Gangs are considered responsible for raising crime and murder rates in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.

How about Bush upholding his oath of office by enforcing our immigration laws to repatriate 20 million illegal aliens? What a concept! What a boost to law and order! He would become a national hero like Eisenhower!

The US government funds Mexican border security; those military and police units then help smuggle drugs and illegals into the US.
Renegade Mexican military units have actually been spotted inside the US. No wonder our law enforcement along the border is outgunned.
