The Flag's on Fire, a beautiful song

The song "The Flag's on Fire" is by international recording artist Bertie Higgins. He had the chart-topping "Key Largo" back in 1981 (and you may have seen him several time recently on VH1 countdown specials), and has been touring the world ever since. His shows, particularly in the heartland and south, are consistently sold-out.

As a veteran who lost a brother in Vietnam, Bertie is passionately in support of the troops and our government's position in maintaining our freedoms, and penned the song "The Flag's on Fire" to harness that sense of common purpose. In concert, the song gets standing ovations.

It's a beautiful song, enjoy:

Great song! I am still reeling from the flamenco/rumba show we saw onboard Empress on our recent cruise to Bermuda. Going through post-cruise withdrawals now! I posted a blog w/pics of the cruise.
