Tax increases to pay for illegal alien health insurance

This week, possibly as early as tomorrow, House Democrats are trying to ram through legislation that will eliminate the existing requirement for proof of citizenship before someone can receive government healthcare services. Removing the proof of citizenship will provide healthcare coverage for illegal immigrants. This isn’t emergency room services—but healthcare coverage for illegal immigrants on the taxpayer’s dime.

 How are House Democrats going to pay for all this?  Massive tax increases on everyday Americans like you and me.  Even with these tax increases, nonpartisan policy analysts expect this legislation to add $90 billion to the national debt.

Right now, take a moment to continue to fight for America’s future – sign the petition at UpholdtheLaw.com – then, get your friends and family to do the same. Our representatives in Washington need to hear that this legislation is unacceptable to the American People.

This really is crazy, and I heard today that in some cases the age is up to 25. Can you imagine considering a 25 year old a child?

It's the first step toward government health care for Americans and anybody else, paid for by poor working slobs like us.

I heard on the news earlier that Bushs War is going to cost a MINIMUM of a trillion dollars. That's one thousand billion dollars. It may reach TWO trillion dollars.

If we can pay for a two trillion dollar war, we can pay off the National Debt. In fact, I'd much rather that we did just that instead of financing this endless war.

Can you imagine what we could do in this country with ONE trillion dollars? We could build new schools, replace bridges, repave roads, build a 50 foot high wall on the Mexican border staffed with 2000 armed guards... the list is endless. It would be like Christmas for all Americans.

I am in favor of Universal Health Care: but only for legal US citizens. There is no way Illegals should be getting subsidized healthcare. I think this is just another action building towards the NAU. Bush is just ignoring our laws through such actions.
