Dirty Love
Sex in a dirty public bathroom, doesn't that sound romantic? What? Dirty floors, dirty walls, toilets, germs and critters you don't want to think about lurking everywhere... What's the thrill?
You don't know where to find these tiny love shacks for potty love? You can find sites that list bathrooms known for this dirty love phenomenon, whether it's opposite-sex or same-sex encounters. Larry Craig has started a conversation on something that is utterly disgusting to me. Apparently, "studies indicate that many of the men who participate in these clandestine encounters are married and consider themselves to be heterosexual."
Men have been calling in to talk shows, confirming the story of Craig on how to solicit anonymous sex from another man in a public bathroom. In some instances, they have no intention of actually having sex there in the bathroom, but following each other to a private place. The bathroom is just the meeting place. "Tapping of the foot is pretty standard for men who cruise in toilets," Public bathrooms are used by members of all sexual persuasions, not just homosexuals.

Two women in Seminole County, Fla., are accused of performing sex acts in front of children at a community pool bathroom while a third woman photographed them, in June of 2007.
For over 100 years, police surveillance and sting operations have targeted public toilets - or "tearooms" - frequented by gay men in search of sex.
Restroom facilities were probably first used for sex in the days before indoor plumbing. ...
By the late 19th century, many cities were overcrowded and had poor sanitation. For public health purposes, public restrooms were built in parks and near transportation facilities. Called "comfort stations," these restrooms dotted the landscape in cities from New York to Seattle. However, some men quickly began to use them for a different kind of comfort.
As early as 1896, the public facilities in Manhattan's Battery Park and City Hall Park were associated with homosexual activity. ...
Though it's unclear when and where it originated, the slang term "tearoom" (that is, "t-room," which was short for "toilet-room") enabled men to discuss their public sexual encounters with each other in a coded way. Heterosexuals understood tearooms very differently, as genteel cafes where people enjoyed afternoon tea and pastries.
One of the most famous tearoom arrests in U.S. history took place in October 1964. That month, the District of Columbia's vice squad began conducting surveillance of the basement restroom of the YMCA on G Street, just two blocks from the White House. Spying through peepholes in the locked door of an unused shower room, police officers caught two men in flagrante delicto. The arrest, however, proved to be far from routine: One of the men was Walter Jenkins, chief of staff to President Lyndon B. Johnson. (more)
According to this writer, at Harvard in the mid-80s ... the men's room in the Science Center basement ... was a world-renowned pickup spot for anonymous gay sex."
The university responded by, get this, removing the doors from the stalls. The dean of students at the time explained that this was "the standard solution." Whether or not this was true, the result was predictable: the sex in the restrooms ceased but almost no one used the stalls for their intended purpose either. [snip]As this excellent (if catty) entry on the Huffington Post notes, out gay men are unlikely to resort to restrooms for sex. This is a venue more likely to be favored by the closeted.

Hubby and I will be celebrating our anniversary this weekend. I can assure you we won't be celebrating in a public bathroom. Not to say that there haven't been public displays of affection between us, and not to say that the wilds of nature haven't held a special place in our romantic history ... but a public bathroom. Nope. Not on the list. I see a nice restaurant, a nice 'event' of some type to attend, fluffy pillows, clean linens, nice music. But hey, that's just us. YOU might have a different idea for romance. heh

Give me
Your dirty love
Like you might surrender
To some dragon in your dreams
Give me
Your dirty love
Like a pink donation
To the dragon in your dreams
I don't need your sweet devotion
An' I don't want your cheap emotion
Whip me up some dragon lotion
For your dirty love
Your dirty love
Give me
Your dirty love
Like some tacky little pamphlet
In your daddy's bottom drawer
Give me
Your dirty love
I don't believe you never seen
His book before
I don't need no consolation
I don't want your reservation
I only got one destination
An' that's your dirty love
Your dirty love
Give me
Your dirty love
Just like your mama
Make her fuzzy poodle do
(Oh, Frenchie . . . )
Give me
Your dirty love
The way your mama
Make that nasty poodle chew
I'll ignore your cheap aroma
And your little-bo-peep diploma
I'll just put you in a coma
With some dirty love
Some dirty love
That dirty love
That dirty love
THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!

THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!

THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!
(Snap it!)
THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!
(Not a speck of cereal!)
THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!
(Nothing but the best for my dog!)
THE POODLE BITES!
(Come on, Frenchie)
THE POODLE CHEWS IT!
(Come on!)
THE POODLE BITES!

THE POODLE CHEWS IT!

Yankee Doodle and Christi: Thanks so much on the anniversary wishes.
On the potty love, yes, it needs to stay out of public view and discussion. But apparently it won't, not with public leaders acting like gutter tripe.
