A record year for deportations, 2007
The year 2007, a record year for deportations.
Authorities in the United States are stepping up efforts to return illegal immigrants to their home countries. Under a program called "Operation Return to Sender," 2007 is set to be a record year for deportations.
Critics say the government is shifting away from only pursuing illegal aliens with criminal records to arresting all undocumented migrants regardless of background. Immigration authorities say they are simply enforcing the law. Steve Mort reports from Florida for VOA. (VOA)

Terry Funderburk, is no different from you and I. He isn’t an activist. He isn’t a lobbyist. Yet he symbolizes every single one of us.
He is an American worker.

Fang, that's amazing, setting their own boats on fire so you have to rescue them. Depending on your good nature and spirit.
nanc, thanks for the info. I just heard something about that on Fox, a teaser. I shouldn't be surprised. The Islamists hate all infidels, unless they have a use for them. I'll google it and see what I can find.

I feel for you guys. Luckily Australia is a huge Island and we can most of them coming or the smugglers boats just sink...
I was out in patrol in 2001 in the Timor sea looking for illegals and they would set their boats on fire so under International Law we would have to rescue them and bring them back to Australian land...luckily the law changed and we would patch their boats up and tow them away into the sunset.
