Evil emanating from Ahmadinejad was palpable - did you accept his invitation?
In Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech at the United Nations today, he did what he does each year ... he gave the non-Islamic world the opportunity to convert to Islam. His entire speech is cloaked around this invitation.
This is the invitation of all the divine prophets, from Adam to Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus Christ, and Mohammed, peace be upon up him. If they accept this invitation, they will be saved. And if they don't, the same calamities that befell the people of distant past will befall them, as well. [snip]Do they not notice that we are nearing the sunset of the time of empires? I hope that this invitation will have a practical answer. [snip]
Without any doubt, the promised one who is the ultimate savior, along with Jesus Christ and other holy saviors, will come. In the company of all believers, justice seekers and benefactors, he will establish a bright future and fill the world with justice and duty. (read it all)
The "promised one" that Ahmadinejad speaks of is the 12th Imam, I'm presuming. Ahmadinejad sees himself as the Imam's prophet.
A student at Columbia University said "the evil emanating from Ahmadinejad was palpable." A wise young woman.
Biblical text paints Satan out to be a counterfeiter that cannot be trusted. One who is evil, but disguises his evil with good intentions, and sweet and colorful packaging. He is the Prince of Lies, and the harbinger of war. He calls for peace and safety as he prepares for war. He promises closeness to God as he separates you from Him. He calls you to come together with all faiths and peoples so that you may be destroyed in one fell swoop. Ahmadinejad sounded a lot like the Biblical description of Satan. And Ahmadinejad lied through the entire speech. (more)

GameSHOUT says, "While Ahmadinejad tries to promote peace and human rights, he forgot the one most important step. He must also promote peace and human rights in his own country."
... For example, he murdered 2 humans in his country just last month just for being gay. Human rights violation? He was given free speech in New York, but deprives his own people from free speech.Mahmoud also made statements in the past (accurate statements) that Israel should be wiped off the map. Exact wording. His regime has tried to do damage control by saying that's not what he meant, but they forgot to tell everyone that his own people even boed him during the speech. (more)
In fact, "Iran’s Ahmadinejad Criticized in Human Rights Council" at Miss Beth's Stomping Grounds, proves Ahmadinejad is a liar and not to be trusted.
Geneva, Sept. 24, 2007 — On the day President Ahmadinejad addressed the UN in New York, his country’s human rights record came in for a beating at the organization’s Human Rights Council in Geneva. UN Watch, a Geneva-based non-governmental organization, told the Human Right Council that Iran was guilty of executing minors and discrimination against women, and called for President Ahmadinejad to be indicted under the Genocide Convention for repeatedly advocating the destruction of Israel. (See full statement below as delivered today before council plenary.)The U.S. and Australia also criticized Iran, as did additional groups like Human Rights Watch and the International Federation for Human Rights Leagues. He is a liar, a cruel dictator, abusive to his own people, his country is responsible for murdering Americans in Iraq, and his plans for the future of Israel and her supporters is consistent.

The Iranian leader blasted Washington and Israel, which he described as an "illegal Zionist regime" over the fate of the Palestinians, who he said were "deprived of water, electricity and medicine for the sin of asking for freedom." (AFP)

Mitt Romney on Ahmadinejad at the United Nations:
"Today's General Assembly address by Iran's President Ahmadinejad represents a failure of the United Nations to live up to its founding principles. Ahmadinejad has threatened the extinction of another member state, Israel. (read it all)
Desert Peace says " AHMADINEJAD TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT IN ISRAEL"
Yes, he said all the things that are reported below in the three major English language news services on Israel... but he said other things as well. He spoke for forty minutes, hitting on issues such as world poverty, hunger, and scores of other issues facing the population of the world.
Well, by all means let's give Ahmadinejad a pass on wanting to wipe Israel off the face of the map, because he talked about poverty and hunger. (not) Of course this is all just "all part of the neoconservative push for yet another war." (not)

Mike: No people don't want war, and I don't think we are talking about war with Iran. We may be talking about precision strikes at their nuclear facilities ... only.
PALADIN: Interesting personal comment. You wouldn't want to hurt innocent paintings, would you??? heh
He is a little pipsqueak, isn't he, like Chavez. I guess he's over compensating for his size.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."
