Grouch, to start with you're using a yahoo.com address. They likely have a scan engine that "simply" grabs each address...and maybe even especially the new listings.
But its not just the yahoo.com since I still get them on my primary email address(es)...and I get them on my email.com address...I don't seem to get any on my gmail address.
Make sure you set your email to capture full headers, and then report it to fraud@yahoo.com and/or follow the links to the Secret Service that I pasted into my post. If that doesn't work, contact the local office of the FBI or your Tenn. HLS office: http://www.state.tn.us/homelandsecurity/
Worst thing to do is to allow it to continue.

It's really weird. When I started the Show Time band blog, I published the email address showtimeband@yahoo.com.
I have never used this email address to log into anything, but ever since then I get about half a dozen Nigerian scam emails per day. The other spam consists almost exclusively of notifications that I have won the lottery.
Now, how the heck do these creeps manage to do this?

Re: "North American Union Police in California, have they arrived?" (video)
That is NOT a logo for the mystical North American Union...its some private security firm. With the proliferation of private security firms and pseudo-paramilitary groups these days, who knows who they were and where they came from.
Thanks for the "419 Scam" link back...I was surprised to see how many people actually fell for that cr@p.
