Independent Counterterrorism Training - Module Two

Last month Right Truth launched the Independent Counterterrorism Training program. "Module One - Know Thy Enemy" was a great introduction and a large number of readers downloaded and hopefully read the information. Everything is free, so you can't beat the price!
Archives can be found here for those of you who missed out last month.
Independent Counterterrorism Training MODULE TWO - Conditioning Yourself Mentally And Physically is now available and ready for you to apply to your life.
Supplemental reading for Module Two can be found here.
"Module Three: Survival, Evasion, And Fieldcraft" will be ready January 1, 2008.
Life is serious business. There is no room for apathy, ignorance, or stupidity. The terrorists gunning for your life have countless followers to do their dirty deeds. You, on the other hand, have only yourself. Now do you wish to remain ill-informed, hopefully optimistic, and terminally naïve? I didn't think so. Prepare to shatter your innocence.
Good luck and happy training. Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of your family.

DEB, I LIKE THAT STYLE OF MARTIAL ART. IT,S VERY PRACTICAL WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH BAD GUYS. THE OKINAWANS ARE VERY PRACTICAL WHEN IT COMES TO FIGHTING. DO YOU STILL PRACTICE?

I WOULD SAY THIS PART IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT. FIREARMS TRAINING IS ONE THING BUT THE PHYSICAL ASPECT IS VERY IMPORTANT. PERSONALLY I STAY VERY ACTIVE. I TRY TO JOG AT LEAST 5 MILES PER WEEK,AND I ALSO PRACTICE HAPKIDO. MY INSTRUCTOR IS AN EX KOREAN MARINE WHO TRAINS IN THE TRADITIONAL KOREAN STYLE. I EARNED MY BLACK BELT WHEN I WAS IN THE ARMY IN 87, BUT THEN ONCE I WAS DISCHARGED IN 89 I GOT TOO INVOLVED IN WORK , AND DID,NT AGAIN PRACTICE UNTIL 01. IF THERE IS ANYTHING YOU CAN DO THAT WILL CONDITION YOU PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FOR COMBAT IT,S A MARTIAL ART. YOU DON,T HAVE TO BE YOUNG TO GET YOUR BLACK BELT AS YOU WORK AT IT,AT YOUR OWN SPEED. IT,S HARD WORK BUT WELL WORTH IT. I KNOW A FELLA WHO GOT HIS BLACK BELT AT 50 YRS OLD. HE GOT JUMPED ONE NIGHT BY 2 PUNKS IN AN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY AND GAVE BOTH OF EM AN ASS KICK,N!!!!!!! PICTURE THIS , IF THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN 2 BLACK BELTS ON THOSE PLANES 6 YRS AGO THINGS MIGHT HAVE TURNED OUT DIFFERENT. PERSONALLY IF I,M ON A PLANE OR BOAT AND I HEAR ALLAH AKBAR, AND THEY DON,T GOT GUNS, THEY WILL BE IN A WORLD OF HURT!!!! EVEN IF THEY HAVE GUNS THERE IS WAYS TO DEAL WITH IT WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT.HAPKIDO TEACHES THIS TACTIC SPECIFICALLY HOW TO DISARM A PERSON WITH A KNIFE OR GUN, AND HOW TO KILL HIM IF NEED BE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE A MARTIAL ART STICK WITH THE TRADITIONAL. DON,T TAKE MUAY TUAY KICKBOXING OR ANY OF THAT ULTIMATE FIGHTING STUFF. TAKE A MARTIAL ART LIKE JUDO OR HAPKIDO, WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO LEARN HOW TO STRIKE , WHERE TO STRIKE. AND ALSO TEACHES HOW TO FINISH YOUR OPPONENT IF HE DOES NOT SUBMIT. PERSONALLY WHEN IT COMES TO TERRORISTS I WILL NOT GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO SUBMIT. MY INSTRUCTOR WAS SHOWING ME HOW HE COULD FINISH SOMEONE WITH A CHOPSTICK THE OTHER NIGHT.IT WAS TO SAY THE LEAST VERY INTERESTING. HE ALSO TEACHES YOU TO REMAIN CALM , NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION IS. FOR ME THATS THE HARDEST PART OF TRAINING.LOL!!!!! WHEN I GET A LITTLE TOO ROWDY DURING SPARING HE JUMPS IN THERE WITH ME AND TEACHES ME TO FOCUS. AFTER A FEW FAT LIPS AND A FEW BRUISES , I,M LEARNING!!!!! SO YES GET ACTIVE, AND GET FIT. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN IT MIGHT BE NEEDED. I,M GOING TELEMARK SKIING THIS WEEKEND. I USUALLY TAKE A PACK WITH SOME FOOD AND MY TRUSTY .22 RIFLE AND I GO FOR 4 HOURS OR MORE.ALONG THE WAY I SET UP TARGETS TO SHOOT AT. THIS TEACHES BREATHING CONTROL. TRY SHOOTING ACURATE WHEN YOUR PANTING LIKE A DOG ON A HOT DAY. IT,S A CHALLENGE BUT IT CAN BE DONE. AN OLD NORWEGIAN GUY SHOWED ME HOW WHEN I WAS OVER THERE BACK IN THE 80,S WHILE I WAS ON A NATO EXERCIZE. HE WAS IN THE NORWEGIAN UNDERGROUND DURING WW2. HE EXPLAINED THAT AT NIGHT TIME THEY,D SNEAK UP ON THE GERMANS ON THEIR SKIS SHOOT A COUPLE OF EM FROM DISTANCE, THEN SKI OFF. THE GERMANS COULD NEVER CATCH EM CAUSE THEY DID,NT KNOW THE TERRAIN AND THEY COULD,NT SKI CROSS COUNTRY LIKE THE NORWEGIANS COULD.
