I've posted about the property rights situation and the land owners who are against the fence. It's a real problem. Who would want their land taken away and an ugly fence built directly behind them. I understand that.

There are ways to keep the illegals out without a fence, but our government doesn't seem willing to take those measures. They are not even interested in keeping the laws already on the books.

I'm glad I don't live on the border.

We are talking about protecting this country though. Unfortunately we have too many open border politicians in Washington.

America's largest border is her 300+ International Airports!

Jailing employers (and we do not require Soviet style internal passports or "Real-I.D.") works, Arizona is a fine example.

We had better pay attention to the so-called "refugee resettlement agencies"). These are the real threat to the Nation, and they operate under the radar.

We can expect 1.2 to 2 million Iraqis alone to be slipped into the US during the next two years....and these are not the poor suffering Christians that have been driven from their homes into Syrian exhile by the murderous Muslims..er, I mean "our allies". (I have little problem with the Iraqi Christians being saved from certain death and possible cruxifiction)

These are very dangerous times.

Pelosi did not write the changes to the border wall into the omnibus spending bill, Republican Senator kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas did. Damn right, too! The border wall is a $46 billion speed bump that DHS says will only slow someone down by 5 minutes. To build it hundreds of homes will be bulldozed in Texas. Hutchison listened to her Texas constituents and remembered that private property rights, like fiscal conservatism, are important conservative values.

Good for Pelosi and her minions! The border fence is a waste of tax payer money. It will not effectively prevent Mexican migrants from entering the United States. It's not an effective weapon in the "wars" against Mexican migration and Terror. The border fence is one thing, and one thing only, a corporate-welfare handout to supranational contractors whose money has hijacked American democracy.

We all must write thank you notes to Pelosi and her minions for defending the best interests of the American people.

*Note to Republicans who stayed away from the polls in '06* The Democrats didn't put Nancy Pelosi and her ilk in power: YOU DID.

You gonna repeat the same self-destructive insanity in '08 cuz whatever Republican gets the nod, isn't "perfect", and let Hillary or Obama continue the march to socialism?

Just askin'.

In the old days, they used to put heads on stakes as an example.

I certainly hope the Republicans are going to use this to show the American people what'll happen if they're silly enough to put a Democrat into the Whitehouse again.

Rasta:

I am a feisty woman who knows what would get the job done. Put up a few posters of the handiwork....and watch it slow down!!

That's just the chocolate sprinkles on top of the ice cream cone. Congress never actually alloted sufficient funds to build the fence in the first place, only a section of it.

Nice to see that Ruger Heat is also proposing what I've been calling for, which is shooting wetbacks as they sneak across. It couldn't stop all the illegals as they have other ways of entering, but it sure would slow down all that foot traffic.

This is where I get so pissed!!

If you ask me...here's how we deal with all the illegal aliens and their attempts to gain entry to our country illegally:

Place a few well trained snipers all along the border. One shot..one kill...you know the drill. It might take 20 or 30 deaths..but eventually they would get the message that if you want to come to this country...fill out the freakin' papers, pay the freakin' money, wait for approvement...then come in.

Otherwise you are just walking head first into a .308 round...and that is not pretty. Damn fine practice for the snipers, though. Hell, I'll volunteer. Any excuse to get my hands on a rifle is a good excuse!!!
