Module Three: Independent Counterterrorist Training - Survival, Evasion, and Fieldcraft
Module Three of the Independent Counterterrorist Training Course, written by R. J. Godlewski and offered here at Right Truth is available here. Module Three is titled "Survival, Evasion, and Fieldcraft". This training program is offered free of charge to everyone. This is a study-on-your-own course.
Archives of the previous two modules can be found here. Mr. Godlewski begins:
I first introduced you in MODULE ONE to those who wish to harm us and, by doing so, presented a strong case that there are, in fact, people out there who want to see you dead for no other reason than you are who you are. You can’t run from people who actively seek you out.
Next, I addressed in MODULE TWO your
need to condition both your mind and your body to accept this reality and the fact that ours is a situation where independent effort is decidedly lacking. Now, in MODULE THREE, you are being given additional information that will instill within you the fight to survive; the ability to control your instincts and corral your fear in hazardous situations.
This is how this program is structured; to build upon what you’ve already learned and channel it towards your ultimate goal: the ability to protect yourself and that of your loved ones within any setting that should arise. (continue reading)
Start out the New Year 2008 right. Be prepared for the future because it's a scary world out there and we never know when we may be personally confronted with evil.

PALADIN:
I got hurt...but I am glad it ended with me walking home, with a torn hamstring and strained ligaments in my neck.
I was very upset about my injuries because it took me out of basketball for 6 months. I went to the range a lot to work out the aggression.

RUGER HEAT: I,M GLAD TO HEAR YOU SURVIVED AND WON.DID YOU KICK HIM IN THE PELOTAS???? IF YOUR EVER IN THAT SITUATION CONCENTRATE ON THE WEAK SPOTS , EYES, NOSE , MOUTH, ETC. AND ANYTHING CAN BE USED AS A WEAPON, STICK, BOTTLE, CHAIR, ETC. THIS MODULE IS VERY IMPORTANT PHASE OF TRAINING. I TOOK SERE TRAINING WHEN I WAS IN THE AIRBORNE REGT. I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS THE TOUGHEST TRAINING I EVER TOOK. I HAD A STRATEGY WHERE I SLEPT IN THE DAY AND MOVED AT NIGHT. WHEN I WAS LAGGERED UP IN THE DAYTIME I DUG A HOLE AND CAMMOED IT UP WITH BRANCHES. THE INSTUCTORS HAD TRACKING DOGS, BUT I WAS PREPARED. (I HAD TALKED TO A GUY WHO WENT THROUGH THE SCHOOL A WEEK BEFORE) I BROUGHT ALONG A GAS GRENADE AND GINGERLY SCREWED THE TOP OFF AND PUT SMALL PILES ON THE GROUND AND CAMMOED THEM UP WITH SMALL STICKS. I THEN URINATED ON THE GROUND NEAR MY TRAP. IT WORKED GREAT WHEN THE DOG HANDLERS WERE TRACKING ME ONE DAY. I SPRUNG MY TRAP AND THEN CLIMBED A TREE ABOUT 200 METERS AWAY. THOSE DOGS WERE YELPING LIKE HELL , THE DOG HANDLERS WERE CUSSING , AND I WAS LAUGHING MY ASS OFF IN A COTTONWOOD TREE.NOT TOO LOUDLY OF COURSE. IN THE THREE DAYS THE SCHOOL LASTED I NEVER GOT CAUGHT.THE LAST PHASE OF THE SCHOOL WAS A DAY IN A SIMULATED POW CAMP. WELL WHEN THE INSTRUCTORS GOT ROUGH I SMARTED OFF AND BOY DID I PAY FOR IT. I DID MANAGE TO ESCAPE , BUT NEARLY DROWNED WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO SWIM A RIVER TO GET AWAY. I DON,T REMEMBER MUCH AFTER THAT AS I WAS TAKEN TO SICK BAY WITH ACCUTE EXHASTION,AND SPENT THE NEXT 18 HRS SLEEPING. ONE THING THAT THIS SCHOOL BURNED INTO MY HEART AND INTO MY BRAIN IS THAT I WOULD NEVER, EVER, FRIGGIN SURRENDER!!!!!!! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!IT IS BETTER TO DIE FIGHTING THAN TO SURRENDER. ESPECIALLY WITH THE ENEMY WE FACE NOW. IT REINFORCED IN ME TO ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN OF ACTION NO MATTER WHAT. I ALWAYS CARRIED 2 PISTOLS WITH ME WHEN I WENT OVERSEAS. (BROWNING 9mm AND SNUB .38 S+W FOR MY BACKUP. WE USUALLY WERE,NT ALLOWED TO CARRY OUR RIFLES WHEN WE WENT ON IN COUNTRY R+R,S,BUT TO ME TO GO UNARMED MEANT TO GIVE UP A FIGHTING CHANCE TO THE DIRTBAGS THAT WANTED TO KILL YA. A LOT OF THE FIELD CRAFT TRAINING THATS IN THIS MANUAL SOUNDS IDENTICAL TO THE SPECIAL FORCES/ RANGER MANUAL ON FIELDCRAFT. YOU CAN,T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT.

Typepad not accepting my Trackbacks. I linked to you from: Idiot of the Year 2007: http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2008/01/idiot_of_the_year_2007.html
Excerpt: Now it's all well and good to poke fun at fairly harmless idiots in the world, like this guy with a rocket between his butt cheeks, but it's hard to ignore the stupidity of the majority of Liberals in this country who do not even believe that Islam is a danger to anyone, that's it's just an innocuous religion like all others. If dangerous idiocy could ever be deserving of an award I nominate the Liberals in this country as Idiots of the Century.

Americaneocon: Thanks and you have a great year also.
Ruger Heat: Glad you came out of that situation safe. We must be aware of our surroundings at all times. Trust nothing. Sometimes all we have is our body and what we can reach to defend ourselves. Being level headed is key.
Thanks for visiting my friends.

Lovin' this kind of stuff!!! This past summer, I was attacked while on a biking trail and had to defend myself. Not having "Ruger" with me, I went ballistic without "hollow point". I was able to fight until another mountain biker came along.
I was taught to make use of anything and everything around me, and that it takes more energy to swing and miss than to connect.
The best that we can do when confronted with evil is to take a deep breath, stay level headed...and then kick some ass!!!
