I am posting a portion of the article "Can an American President Be a Muslim Apostate?" by Frank Salvato at Family Security Matters, in which he states, "the United States cannot afford a leader of limited potency as we battle the war against radical Islamist aggression." What do you think?
[snip] ... as Islamic scholar Daniel Pipes points out in his recent article, Confirmed: Barack Obama Practiced Islam, Barack Obama did in fact practice Islam as a child. True, most of us, as children, are guided by our parents in the ways of religion, taking up the faiths of our mothers and fathers, but a choice later in life to deviate from their religious beliefs does not nullify the fact that we once attended the churches, synagogues, mosques, etc. sanctioned by our parents. To this extent, Barack Obama did practice Islam and was subjected to the fundamental tenets of the ideology. This fundamental truth is important for at least a few different reasons. Fundamentalist Islamists, radical Islamists, Wahhabists, believe, among other things, that :
▪ When one is born of Muslim parents they are Muslim.
▪ Everyone who does not embrace Islam is a non-believer and thus, is an enemy to Allah, his Prophet and believers.
▪ Should one leave the faith of Islam he is considered an apostate, a denier of the Koran, and should be killed.
When you acknowledge the fact that Barack Obama was brought to mosque to practice Islam as a child and that he was born of a father that was Muslim, in the eyes of Wahhabists and Islamist fundamentalists he is considered an apostate. Under fundamentalist Islamic dogma – Wahhabi dogma – he is considered an enemy of Allah, his Prophet and believers. In the world of radical Islamists, Barack Obama is the worst kind of infidel – a traitor – and should be killed. [snip]
Saudi Arabia, the world’s leading exporter of fundamentalist Sunni Islam – Wahhabism – would most assuredly view Obama as an apostate and, therefore, an infidel of the worst order. Because Saudi Arabia is considered – for reasons unknown to this writer – an ally in the global war against radical Islam, Obama’s apostasy presents a problem as to whether agreements between the two nations can be considered ingenuous. When you entertain the Wahhabist ideological tenet of taqiyya, the possibility of insincere agreements entered into by the Saudis, meant to empower a strategic advantage over the United States and the West, becomes more of a problem.
The issue of Obama’s apostasy is also valid for the governments of Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Afghanistan and especially Iran, and the plethora of countries in Indonesia and Africa who either see their government’s mired in conflict with radical Islam or adhering to the tenets of Islamic dogma. Rasta you have to be kidding me on the Kosovo comment!!! people that don’t know the situation comment like that. that was clintons philosophy ''just finish that area of quickly and it will be peace again, and that is where osama got his full support, that is where US didn’t care if Iran sent fighters to help the bosnian muslims, and the most important thing of all almost all of the hijackers from 911 are veterans of that areas wars. if Kosovo receives independence it will be a first Islamic/vahabi controlled state in the heart of Europe. bush at this time thinks that’s is the fastest solution, yes it is the fastest but it’s the one that will open the doors to osama to hide out in Europe and create an army of white jihadists.

The best, quickest and cleanest solution to the Kosovo problem is a sudden enormous release of energy.
One bright flash and no more Kosovo problem.
Some things just go so far beyond tiresome that the world at large no longer wishes to even hear about them any longer and Kosovo is one of them.
The constant bickering in the Baltics and the Middle East and Africa and the Philippines and ad nauseum is wearing the world thin and me with it. I'd be just as happy to see it all blow to Hell and I bet a lot of others would too.

It certainly might cut down on his making frivolous trips to the Middle East; but I still don't want Obama...or any current running Democrap...as president. The world's too dangerous for more Clinton chicanery, or any other progressive's.

courtneyme109: You make a very good point. They don't seem to have a problem turning on each other.
Stormwarning: Yes, the issues are important, but we haven't heart the democrats talk about issues at all, and the republicans very little.
Martin: Nice to see you again.
Paladin: You have a way with words, and yes you are right.

Actually, a case could be made that a muslim president could literally get away with anything in combat with America's enemies - consider - history shows that the largest killers of mohammedists have been, well, other mohammedists. Cease fires, biz deals and honestly negotiated treaties could be abandoned without warning and put paid to mohammedists constantly crying about America's assault on Islam. Just a thought.

I still think the whole "religion" thing is a BIG tempest in a teapot for people to "chit-chat" about, and not much more.
Now, as for the more the question of his positions and experience, that's entirely different.

You'd think as an apostate he'd have better views on things, wouldn't you. I mean, considering he'd be right up there with Rushdie for most wanted. lol Yeah, I hear ya on the RNC candidate front though. Fred's good, but not a lot of fire or the right convictions among any of them, though certainly some are much better than others.
