Rudy Giuliani running out of money
Trouble for Rudy Giuliani in more ways than one. About a dozen senior campaign staffers for Rudy Giuliani are forgoing their January paychecks, even though at the end of December, the campaign supposedly had $11.5 million cash on hand, $7 million of which can be used for the primary.
Seems the clients and dealings of Giuliani Partners, the consulting firm he founded in 2002, may be trouble for his campaign too.
Some of those clients have controversial records. Among those he hasn't disclosed is the government of Qatar, a Persian Gulf state to whom the firm provided security advice, according to the former U.S. ambassador there. Qatar is a strategic U.S. military ally and energy supplier, yet also a country that has been criticized for its conduct toward al Qaeda -- a potential political pitfall for a candidate pitching himself as an uncompromising foe of Islamic terrorism.Other potentially controversial dealings have been disclosed by the firm or by clients over the years. They include Purdue Pharma, a drug company that hired the firm in 2002 to help with a federal investigation into overdose deaths attributed to the pharmaceutical firm's powerful OxyContin painkiller, and New York nuclear-power-plant operator Entergy Nuclear Northeast. Also not good for Giuliani is his own strategy
to head to Florida and put all his eggs in that basket. Some folks are worried about the History of Rudy Giuliani’s Temper. (You can go read it)

Perhaps things are just as bad in the rest of the world, but it seems to me that the Middle East is suffering from an epidemic of denial: denial of the Holocaust, of course, but also lots of less spectacular denials of generally accepted fact*. This phenomenon does not bode well for our happy little region.

When we found out about Foehammer's Anvil being taken down, I, and others, tried contacting Lunar Pages tech support at the email address given in their screen message. But all I got was some guff requiring me to prove that I was the owner of the site (which I obviously am not) in order to report a problem. This insulates Lunar Pages support staff from having to deal with multiple complaints if they have wrongfully taken down a site that is relied upon by a community of users.
So I went ahead and posted additional contact information for Add2Net, the parent company of Lunar Pages.
