Proud to be an American and Conservative
Tuesday night catch-up:
From Tidbits and Treasures, Proud to be an American
Just a few of the words from Lee Greenwood's song "I'm Proud to be an American" should make everyone stop and think what it means to be an American. And I’m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

The Pentagon is worried about an Obama Presidency? Via This Ain't Hell:
The Washington Times, in another article, reports that the Pentagon is a bit worried about the potential Obama administration; [snip]“We’re very concerned about his apparent lack of understanding on the threat of radical Islam to the United States,” said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, who is pro-Iraq war and a Fox News analyst. “A lot of retired senior officers feel the same way.” Mr. Obama also has stirred concern in national security circles by pledging to talk to the leaders of rogue nations, such as Iran and North Korea, without preconditions. I used to think that it was uncalled for when people would say that liberals hate America. If it were a lie why would they continually try to dismantle it?

God bless the USA.

If the military are worried, that should ring alarm bells right across the nation. Love the pic of the military guy holding the pic of Obama...LOL
By the way, Lee Greenwood's song is pure inspiration. It's one of the most stirring songs I've ever heard. I remember singing it with a huge turnout on the 4th July after 9/11 with the fireworks bursting over our heads. Amazing.

BHO also blew it in the debate tonight when asked a what if regarding Russia deploying troops to Serbia and making like she would crush Kosovo.
He was off base - inferring that a powerhouse like NATO (who couldn't be bothered nearly 10 years ago to handle it - til Great Satan moved in) would tend to it.
Scary.

American Interests: I really like Victor Davis Hanson and respect his writings. A very good question from him and no rational answers.
Yep, open your checkbooks my friends, if either Hillary or Barack get the nod, we're in financial trouble.

I watched the debate tonight and all I could think as Hillary and Barack were yammering on and on about Bush's failed policies and how they have to change the world's views of the U.S. was, what idiots. Completely clueless about the threats we face as a nation. If we would just talk nice to them and be friends... I wanted to puke.

As i wrote on anothers blog, "Obama is going to make me hot under the collar soon."
Victor Davis Hanson asked recently, " How is it that America finds itself on the verge "nominating and probably electing someone with almost no experience as either an executive or national legislator, replete with ratings and rankings that suggest he will be about the most liberal Presidential candidate since George McGovern."
I might also add, Obama's program will mean Americans can look forward to an additional $400 Billion in federal spending ... sure to break the treasury if he gets in...
