No Valentine For You Muslims!
Religious police in Saudi Arabia are banning the sale of Valentine's Day gifts including red roses, -- Saudi authorities consider Valentine's Day, along with a host of other annual celebrations, as un-Islamic. (BBC) But never fear, the black market for tokens of love is booming. There may be hope after all. Can love beat out sharia law?
Those of you who are familiar to the List know that Valentine's Day is considered a threat to Islam. --Religious Police Ban Red Roses, The Amboy Times
What could possibly be wrong with giving some flowers, candy, a little token of one human for another? Americans and most freedom-loving folks take this act of love and kindness for granted. We send cards, little gifts, offer acts of kindness in gratitude for relationships we have with other people, not just lovers or spouses. Children from the earliest age exchange valentines, candy hearts, balloons, whatever.
How can a gift, however small or large, no matter what that gift is or how it's wrapped, be evil or against God's will? When you strip all the joy out of the lives of your people, one day they will rebel. We can only hope it will be soon. Islam and the Koran, sharia law, beat people down, destroy any joy, hope, promise for the future they might have. People can't live productive lives like that. They can't get along with their neighbors under that pressure. The religious leaders are creating a state of turmoil that will one day boil over against them, instead of against the West. At least that is my hope. I say "let the flowers, candy, cards, gifts flow!!!"
In addition to the prohibition on celebrating non-Islamic festivals, the authorities consider Valentine's Day as encouraging relations between men and women outside wedlock - punishable by law in the conservative kingdom.
The Saudi Gazette reported that some people placed orders with florists days or weeks before Valentine's Day in anticipation of the ban, which is a regular occurrence.
"Sometimes we deliver the bouquets in the middle of the night or early morning, to avoid suspicion," one florist said.
Others were planning to travel to the more religiously liberal neighbouring countries, Bahrain or the United Arab Emirates, to celebrate.
Saudi Arabian authorities impose a strict Islamic code that prevents men and women from mixing.

Happy Hallmark Holiday.
If we ever get rid of the whores who run our nation into the ground, and get the energy independence we deserve, then the moronic and asinine opinions of aholes and dictators will take on the significance they deserves. They will be flush down with the rest of the pig offal.

Durano Lawayan: Thanks for that comment, you are so right.
Skunkfeathers: Don't give them any ideas, they already use Downs Syndrome women and children as suicide bombers.
Perri Nelson: My pleasure.

Hello Right Truth,
Saudi Arabians are not used to love and being loved, only to being owned or enslaved.
Expressions of love between husband and wife probably ends after the man has satisfied his desire from his "property" each time. This is being used, not being loved. Do women have any rights? Hardly. Is that love? I think not.
If this is their law, it's a very unloving law.I pity the women in this place, they must thirst for real love and respect. --Durano, done!

Sharia law would openly embrace Valentines Day if Cupid would don a satchel charge and kamikaze dive into a gathering of "infidels".
