Americans Bombed In Pakistan and Americans Killed in Albanian Explosion

Pakistan:

Reports gathered from various sources revealed blast at an Italian restaurant in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad on Saturday appears to have killed at least two people and wounded 15.

A foreign woman was one of the dead. A witness told newsmen the explosion occurred in a garden dining area at the rear of the Luna Caprese restaurant, which is frequented by expatriates, including diplomats, aid agency workers, and journalists.

One hundred and sixty people, many of them Americans, are feared dead or injured after a series of large explosions at an army base on the outskirts of Tirana, the capital of Albania, officials have said.

People suffering with burns, concussions and broken limbs were rushed to local hospitals following the blasts, believed to have begun while teams were dismantling munitions at a store base. Many of the injuries were a result of flying glass or shrapnel. (continue reading)

As for Albania, why expect a peaceful existence? Its a relatively backward farming economy...With a population that is 70% Muslim, the jihad continues to spread.

Sadly the death toll will probably be lifted. They are going to need help with this. I heard their Defence Minister on TV saying that about 100-thousand tonnes of old munitions from the communist era remain in the country.
