Useful idiots and politics
Politics is personal, people want to know what the candidate will do for them if elected. Example:
The 2008 election is unfolding like a Shakespearean or Greek tragedy. It has all the elements of drama, humor, deception, pathos, comedy, tragedy, highs and lows, back-stabbing and almost every element of human behavior encompassing good or bad.The bottom line is that our election process is broken and in need of major repair. (more)
Here's the situation:
Americans and the next president will be facing: Higher oil prices mean more money to fund Islamic terrorist groups like Hezbollah, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, the Saudis. Saudi cash is luring universities and businesses around the world, including the USA.
The promotion of Gen. David Petraeus has some wondering if this is a sign that the Bush administration may attack Iran before a new president moves into the White House.
The White House made the case to the US Congress that the task of preventing a terror attack could justify interrogation methods that would otherwise be outlawed by the Geneva Convention, according to letters obtained by US media. Will the next president be soft on terrorism?
Islam is taking over Europe and spreading Westward. Do we want a president who is soft on the threat from Islam?
Useful Idiots (include the media)
Islam divides the world into two parts. The part governed by sharia, or Islamic law, is called the Dar al-Islam, or House of Submission. Everything else is the Dar al-Harb, or House of War, so called because it will take war—holy war, jihad—to bring it into the House of Submission. If you thought that Socialism benefited from useful idiots, you ought to contemplate how idiotic Islam’s useful are.
Leading liberal intellectuals and academics have shown a striking willingness to betray liberal values when it comes to pacifying Muslims. [snip]
Mark Steyn, who knows something about Jihad’s efforts to silence critics, summed it up nicely in a different context:
In a scrupulously politically correct age, it’s not offensive to organize a “Kill the police!” demo or to preach that the government invented Aids in order to perpetrate an African-American genocide. You can pull that stuff and still be part of respectable society, hanging out with presidential candidates and whatnot. What’s grotesquely offensive is the chap who’s insensitive enough to point out such statements and associate
And do we want a president who is FOR this:
This is a mixed up campaign season. Barack Hussein Mohammad Obama's 20-year pastor said that Islam is compatible with Islam and other crazy things in his latest diatribe at the National Press Club. Rev. Jeremiah Wright is having security provided by the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan goons. Now that Obama's poll numbers have tanked, he's suddenly " ... outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle.” Yeah right, saddened by the truth that he has known for 20 years.
Jeremiah Wright spoke at the NAACP dinner, apparently that group is intelligent enough to understand what Wright means when he sayd "God damn America" and us 'typical White folks' are too ignorant to understand. I beg to differ, we understand perfectly.
Yes we understand what's going on, we sometimes feel helpless to DO anything about it. Just look at the politicians we are forced to pick from.

quick note, you have a typo: You say Obama's 20 year old pastor says "Islam is compatible with Islam." I would have to agree with him if that is what he said. :D.
Per your link, he said "Islam is compatible with New Testament Christianity."

Exposing Islam: Thank you so much and please don't be a stranger here at Right Truth.
Mary Chamberlain and everyone, thanks for the comments and in put.
It seems that Obama's little talk yesterday has been viewed by body language specialists now -- he was faking it.

Lenin was absolutely right about the utility of "useful idiots"; he was also right to dispense with their services once he'd gotten from them what he wanted (Stalin was particularly efficient at dispensing with services of "useful idiots").
Outside of wispy liberal udopians, is there any doubt that the "useful idiots" who advocate accommodation with radical Islam, will be among the first to have their services dispensed with, once their utility is done?
Starting with Dimmy Carter...

Thanks to Right Truth, I have already established to my satisfaction that Barack Obama's "CHANGE MESSAGE" does not match the proven facts.
I have watched the Clinton's operate for many years and Hillary will change her message at the drop of a hat to get votes.
My QUESTION OF THE DAY is:
Will John McCain, if elected, clean up the mess created by George Bush's disasterous 8 years?
NO ONE IS ASKING HIM:
Will he finish the border fence 670 miles....immediately?
Will he beef up Homeland Security to allow more border agents on the border and more support to states which have already passed laws on
illegal immigration?
Will he let the congress develop a health care program for all Americans based on OUR input, NOT CORPORATE AMERICA'S NEEDS?
THE LIST IS LONG AND URGENT. John McCain has as yet not addressed the failings of the Bush adminstration.
