Code Pink Funds Barack Obama, AND has connections to Hugo Chavez, from Human Events

Jodie Evans, co-founder of the radical anti-war group Code Pink has “bundled” more than $50,000 for Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and pro-troops groups are demanding that he return the money. Evans and her son, a student who lives at her Southern California address, each also gave the maximum individual allowable donation of $2,300 to Obama’s campaign. [snip]

Evans sat on the board of directors of the Rain Forest Action Network (RAN), a coalition of capitalist-hating environmentalist groups. The co-founder of RAN also founded the violent and radical Animal Liberation Front, which the FBI listed as one of the largest domestic terrorism threats in the United States.

The FBI reported that RAN and the Earth Liberation Front committed more than 600 criminal acts and racked up $43 million in damages over seven years.

And again, we were reminded that the man who adored Rev. Jeremiah Wright – he of the "God damn America" school of uniting – is the same man who today calls for the surrender of U.S. troops to the forces of Islamic jihadists. [snip]

Someone who hasn't been absent from the pews of the church of Obama-mania is a woman named Jodie Evans, who happens to work for the anti-American group Code Pink.

Code Pink has been in the headlines recently for their campaign of "counter-recruitment" where military recruiting centers here in the United States have been violently attacked by "peace" thugs.

Code Pink's treasonous behavior on foreign soil has been equally disgusting.

The organization traveled to Iraq to give $600,000 in aid to what they called "the other side" so they could resist Coalition Forces. The "other side" is a euphemism for Islamic terrorists. But remember, according to the worldview of Barack Hussein Obama, these terrorists have nothing to do with the jihad that's been declared against America.

They ATTENDED his fundraiser. That doesn't mean they helped set it up, other people also attended.

I think he should - however - also return the money from them. Code Pink is a disgusting, backwards, mentally disturbed organization filled with people who don't understand anything...

Obama isn't calling for the "Surrender of US Troops". Really? Those are the words you're going to use? Honestly?

Surrender means they lay down their weapons at the hand of the enemy. Our troops going home, because no one knows why we're fighting this war - THAT's why we wanna bring troops back.

If you then say, oh but we're fighting Terrorism, then honest-to-God, you're as uninformed and crazy as the women in Code Pink.

Remember, you're just as Gung-ho no questions asked as they are being opposed for it.

Interesting. I had not read about the Code Pink connection. I'm not surprised, though, as surrendering in Iraq is top on his agenda according to his own words. I heard Medea Benjamin, co-founder of Code Pink, on Michael Medved's radio show not long ago. She is talking of supporting the Green Party, I think, but said they don't all endorse the same candidate.
