Last fall the campus group La Raza flew the The Mexican Flag over the UNM campus for several days– This symbolizes that a US territory has been taken over. Air Force veteran Peter Lynch took the flag down after complaining to campus officials and tore it up. This week he was sentenced. (Gateway Pundit)

Peter Lynch received a deferred six-month sentence on supervised probation. He also must perform 48 hours of community service, attend anger management, replace the flag and pay court and probation fees. (more)

Common sense went out the American window years ago. It's political correctness all the way these days.

So they found him guilty of criminal destruction of property. OK maybe...

Then they accused him of racism? When did it become illegal to be a racist (I'm not affirming that he is). If this were the case then Jeremiah Wright and David Duke are equally guilty.

If he had burned someone's American flag, not a thing would have been said or done!

Anyone who knows about La Raza, the owners of the flag, knows that they are a group whose members advocate the Reconquista of California and are racist against non-Latinos.

Whatever denials the political organ makes they cannot contradict the sentiment of their rank -n-file and it is revealing that they refuse to denounce MEChA, a severely racist hate group.

For them to accuse Peter Lynch of racism is a joke.

As a Latino, one whom La Raza claims to speak on my behalf for, I denounce their divisive, racist ideology.

Sometimes the rule of law goes beyond common sense. This reminds me of the little guy who got tired of being attacked by gangs on the New York subways, so he carried a pistol. The next time they came at him he shot and killed 3 of the sons of bitches. Of course, he was prosecuted big time but the jury had more sense than this one and he was found NOT guilty.

I say Hurrah to this guy for standing up for America, something the judge in this case failed to do.

Oh, yes, IslamaNazi is alive again. I discovered that I had actually reached one person who had been previously unaware of the true nature of Islam and that makes it all worthwhile. I'm dividing my blog time between the two of them now and this works well for me.

Sorry to see Charton Heston go, I hope it was painless and peaceful. He was a grand fella and a real patriot.
