Dirty Bomb Scare Continues

Dirty_bomb2 Terror networks around the world continue to plot and plan, each with different battle plans but the same ultimate goal -- the end to Western countries and replace freedom with IslamWhen moderates do speak out they are attacked and smeared by the majority of Muslims in Western countries.  See this article for a perfect example here in the US.

It should be no surprise that the Beijing Olympics in August could be a target for terrorists using radioactive materials.  "The International Atomic Energy Agency says a group might try to release radioactivity at an Olympic venue, possibly using a “dirty bomb”."  (BBC)  Millions of tourists are expected in Beijing for the Olympics and then there are all the athletes from around the world.

Christopher S. Carson at FrontPageMag says,  "Where a nuclear attack once may have been beyond the capacities of stateless terrorists, that is no longer the case."

According to the New York Daily News  and its sources, the captive KSM told his interrogators that Osama bin Laden was planning a “nuclear hell storm” in America.

Normally such a lurid claim would be disbelieved by our “inside-the-box” intelligence officers, but KSM’s recovered laptop had corroborating details. The agents learned that the chain of command for this new operation went simply: bin Laden, his terrorist doctor Ayman al-Zawahiri, a mysterious scientist named “Dr. X,” and an operational coordinator. The scientist turned out to be Dr. A.Q. Khan, the founder of Pakistan’s atomic bomb, national hero, and nuke material proliferator extraordinaire. The operations ringleader was known as “Jafer the Pilot” (Jaffer al-Tayyar). This ID was corroborated by former al-Qaeda No. 3 Abu Zubaydah when he himself was waterboarded.
The night meeting went well. 'Jafer the Pilot" is the nom de guerre of U.S. citizen Adnan el-Shukrijumah. Young, intelligent, fluent in multiple languages and a trained jet pilot who had apparently been in flight schools with Mohammed Atta, Shukrijumah had studied and worked with other jihadis at the 5-megawatt nuclear reactor at McMaster University in Canada.  But one day all the terrorists disappeared from campus forever.

John Loftus of WABC news reported on November 7, 2003, that in the immediate wake of Shukrijumah and his fellow travelers’ disappearance, 180 pounds of uranium ended up “missing” from the reactor.

None of that information is new to those of us who keep tabs of terrorist activity.  You may not know that al-Qaeda reps met with  the violent street gang MS-13 (Mara Salvatruchas) and traveled throughout South America making contacts.  What better way to get a bomb into the United States, than through the Mexican border?    Continue reading the FPM article here.

So far, so good, we have not been attacked here at home again since September 11, 2001.
But how long will that last when we don't secure our borders?

The security of the population is the primary responsibility of the government. In times of war it may require extraordinary measures, some of which will affect basic freedoms. That's how it happened that, following the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, many thousands of U.S. citizens were interned in camps for the safety of the general public, even as some of their relatives were called up and served with great distinction in the Armed Services. It was unpleasant, unconstitutional and possibly even ineffective, but it was widely regarded as necessary.
I cite the above as an example of measures which may need to be taken to protect the public from danger. I do not suggest similar draconian measures are needed now, but a review of the security of this country shows gaping holes which have already been exploited by our enemies and which are still a major cause for concern. The "Open Arms" policy of welcoming visitors to this country needs to be balanced against security, and America today has arrived at a balance which is more dangerous than is comfortable. While there are numerous laws which would, if enforced, provide a greater level of protection, the lack of enforcement of border security, identification requirements and visa qualifications are among matters of grave concern.  (by Tim Wilson at Family Security Matters)

Hezbollah's Communication Network Confirms Its Terror Goals, Dr. Walid Phares

An intelligence map released by a French web site, referencing Lebanese sources, shows the extensive communications network established by Hezbollah throughout Lebanon. These closed telephone circuits are operationally independent of government networks. The Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications has no link to these closed cable-based networks. These systems were at the heart of the latest confrontation between the Seniora cabinet and Hezbollah commander Hassan Nasrallah. The latter accused the government of attempting to seize these networks or supervising them, and the Lebanese government naturally stating that all telephonic networks in Lebanon, as in any country, must be under the auspices of the legal government. Hezbollah rejected this "normal" status and responded that since it perceives itself as a "resistance" therefore it can and should have its own "closed communications system." In other words, a state within the state.

Norm: Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Thanks for the warning...

Keep up the good work.

Steve: I haven't heard about that, but hopefully someone else will and let you know.

Stormwarning: Mexico is the big scary monster to the South. You have reported on this time after time, but somehow it doesn't seem like our government is as serious about it as they should be.

Years ago during the raids in the mountains of northeastern Afghanistan, I recall reading something about emoty radioactive canisters being found in a cave, marked Radioactive (language unknown). I remember reading this from a mainstream media source, but I've since forgotten which one it was.

I am just wondering if anyone else remembers hearing about this. Feel free to email me on this; I don't often check back on my posts, thanks.

The Mexican pipeline is indeed a dangerous one. The "daisy chain" goes like this...the Guatemalan border is a path for the Keniles...the FARC is supporting some of the drug trade in Mexico...Hugo Chavez is supporting the FARC...Hugo Chavez is supporting Iran and Hezbollah...Iran has nuclear materials...etc.

Scarey thoughts.

Courtney: You are a sweetheart! I agree, Phares is great and really gets it. He speaks, I listen.

Layla: I'm personally not too concerned about Jaffar the Pilot. He's been around and has become something of a myth. If we are attacked I would bet he's not even involved. He's too high profile.

Also it's been so long since we had a photo of him, he probably doesn't even look the same any more.

I still think he is in Canada .

Hi Debbie. God, I love Right Truth! Thanks for the Dr Phares link - oh, he got game! And tells it straight down the line.

This is going from bad to worse hun. I think people of the United States and our U.S. Officials better make up their minds how to deal with all this. All this division and differing views can destroy a nation.

And Obama and his little crew can go ******* themselves. They are nothing but playing politics and a bunch of rambling idiots! SPIT!
