Uh-oh, here we go again: Meet Obama's new pastor -- Otis Moss compares Wright to Jesus, backs up predecessor on AIDS, drugs (WND)

The man slated to become chief pastor at the Trinity United Church of Christ has called blacks "lepers" with a "skin disease," claimed U.S. entertainment corporations operate with "disdain" for black people, and in a fiery sermon claimed retired pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright was "lynched" by the media and compared the embattled pastor to Jesus.

Otis Moss III, lauded this week by Obama as a "wonderful young pastor," also recently refused to deny claims by Wright that the U.S. government was involved in distributing illegal drugs to minorities or spreading the AIDS virus to blacks.

The 37-year-old Moss, nicknamed the "hip-hop pastor" by congregants, will become the head of Trinity Christ in June, taking over for Wright, whose controversial remarks landed Obama in hot water. (continue reading)

Not even the bigoted Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose well-armed body guards come courtesy of Louis Farrakhan’s racist organization, the Nation of Islam, wants to live among the thieves, thugs and murderers, as he builds his multi-million dollar mansion in an upscale white neighborhood, while Chicago’s South Side becomes a haven for gangland terrorism.

And Barack Hussein Obama? His elitist answer is more gun control in a city with some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the country. Does he honestly believe that the terrorism and mayhem is caused by law-abiding gun owners who fill out the paperwork, go through the background checks and pay the fees to own a gun? Is he so isolated from the reality of his own home town that he doesn’t believe the guns on the streets are bought and sold by drug dealers and other criminals?

On March 24, 2008, Investors Business Daily published a list of then-Illinois Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s record on crime. Here are a few highlights:

• Curbs on what he called a "broken" death penalty system.

• A measure to expunge some criminal records and give job grants to ex-cons.

• Tougher handgun controls.

• A vote against making gang members eligible for the death penalty if they kill someone to help their gang.

• Opposition to a bill requiring juveniles to be prosecuted as adults for firing a gun at or near a school.

I have news for Barack Hussein Obama – forcing more restrictions on law abiding gun owners will only get them killed by the thugs who buy their guns from out of the trunk of a purple Cadillac. [snip]

Obama claims to be in the presidential race for the same reason he “fought for hope for the hopeless in the streets of Chicago.” It’s the audacity of hope – the audacity of Barack Hussein Obama’s hope that could bring this country to its knees. (continue reading)

Apparently, some men of the cloth recognize Karl Marx as their Lord and Savior. By the way, if your pastor is not your spiritual mentor you are either disingenuous or a stranger to the truth.

Three times today in his interview with Tim Russert on Meet the Press, Obama stated that “It’s a wonderful church . . .”, and later “I feel a great loyalty to that church . . .”, and even later, “I am proud of my church and am committed to the values of that church.” Yet Russert never brought up questions about Obama’s new pastor nor the long-time Black racist values of his beloved church.

I can believe that, since most of the entertainment/celebrity crowd are filled with liberals.

That B. Hussein Obama’s record on crime is why he is classed as a far leftist. Most of those have been tried elsewhere like Britain and Australia and have failed and will continue to fail as long as we are dumb enough to pursue them. Perhaps that is why he is hell bent on pursuing them.

seems that many in that congregation are joing obama in his denouncement that wasn't a renouncement. boy, i have just GOT to get that book on weasel words so i can know how to talk while saying nothing.
